   Great food served by a lovely team of staff who make you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door. We had an impromptu celebration for my son’s engagement and we were looked after so well. Thanks to Holly and the rest of the staff.

   Called in for a meal at The Riverside Hotel in Branstone and it was spot on. The food was fresh, tasty, and really well cooked. The service was just as good — especially Phoebe, who was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel looked after the whole time. Lovely place, great staff, and definitely worth a visit. We’ll be back!

   On arrival it was nice too see a large welcome board from Adam and his team. Check in was easy. The welcome card from Adam and two chocolates on the bed was a lovely touch. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The food we had at tea and breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. We certainly would recommend without hesitation.

   We were last at the Riverside in 1994. It has changed and is now a great 'pub with rooms'. We ate on 2 nights and the food was excellent, hearty and filling. The staff were kind, considerate and helpful. The bedroom was a little small but was perfectly adequate. The shower was great with plenty of hot water and the bed was comfortable. The location, by the River Trent was lovely. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend without reservation.

   We booked a table for Mother's Day and found the menu was different from the advertised. If that menu had been advertised, we wouldn't have booked. I also appreciate it is a busy day for them, but 1 poor young girl was trying to look after too many tables. Management is to blame for this, not the staff.

   Haven't stayed at the Riverside as we live locally so can't comment on accommodation but have had a drink there. Haven't had something to eat yet but the food coming out looked very good. The outside seating area looks brilliant and comes into its own during the summer as it's close to the river. Nice little touch of blankets provided for outside and little blankets and treats for your dog. Has had a recent refurb so a nice place to eat and drink. Will return to try out a meal.

   It was my birthday and my daughter was taking me for lunch, we had to take Ellis the dog too. The Riverside has been a favourite of mine for years , but I had not been since the refurbishment. It was beautiful lovely couches and tables. Ellis liked it too. I had a Hendricks Gin and Tonic and my daughter had a white wine. We ordered lasagne mine with chips and the daughters with Ciabatta . While we waited Ellis had a bowl of water and a dog biscuit provided at a doggy table. Our food arrived piping hot from the kitchen. It looked good and tasted delicious. The portions were large. I didn’t have room for pud so we three then wandered down the river for a walk. The staff at Riverside are polite professional and speedy. Cant wait to visit again.

   Went in after yet another re-fit. Looks really good. Went on Xmas eve so it was very busy so ended up sitting outside. Loads of new faces in staff. Hope they keep them as always seems to be a high turn round.

   I honestly can't see why people have given below 5 stars, it has only taken 1 stay for this hotel to become my and my partners favourite. By far. Ellie (if i remember rightly) a lovely person who genuinely wanted to make our stay relaxing and fabulous. In fact, all of the staff couldnt be any more helpful. The room was perfect, i cant fault it, it was a very warm night and the staff provided us with a fan. The complimentary tea, cofee and chocolates were a beautiful touch. Great views too. We had come back from a week away in spain and both agreed we'd have much preferred a week at this hotel. Our hostess was impeccable, the food was exquisite and they are very family friendly. For how immaculate the dining area is, i was worried about taking our baby and small child, but was made to feel completely welcome. We will be coming back for a longer stay and we look forward to it. Thankyou again for an excellent experience!
