   Very lovely hostel with a superbly friendly and helpful host. Stayed as a group and greatly appreciated the communal facilities; there's a nice, cosy living room stocked with things to read/watch and some board games, too. Everything was clean and orderly, and the location is very convenient (next to the station, within walking distance to town).

   Lovely Hostel, more like a communal living space than a Hostel. Host is so kind and friendly. Facilities were clean and everything in good order. Right next to the train station, and a 5-10 min walk to town!

   We had a great group stay of 14 to attend a conference. Excellent location directly in front of the station, Lawrence was a fantastic host and the place felt homely for a group booking. Plus keeping the check in open for us until we arrived was a great help, very communicative host The website is still active so make sure you inquire! Very affordable and good location for group travel. We booked the whole thing which was 2 twin rooms, a 4 bed bunk room and a 6 bed bunk room.

   I was excited to see a backpackers in Bournemouth but then found out no dorm rooms in 2025! Kinda not a backpackers then..? Why no dorms??

   As soon as you step foot into the Backpackers you are greeted by the greatest of hosts. The rooms are clean and spacious with enough plug sockets for phones etc. Sinks in most rooms, with two handy shower rooms on the 1st floor. All the kitchen facilities and storage you'd need are there. Close to station, town, and beach. Heaven.

   Stayed for 2 nights in 2017 for Tankfest. Hostel itself is quite clean and nice place with friendly staff. But you need to take into consideration that it's close to city center so nights can be loud during weekends. And you may want to ask for thicker matress.
