   Exceptional service, greeted with a coffee and cake in the snug and helped out with finding our walk route for the morning. Accommodated when our plans changed and even upgraded our room when we got there. The room was beautiful and the atmosphere was warm and peaceful. The restaurant downstairs was amazing. Can't wait to go back.

   Five star, five star, five star! Absolutely delightful and unique hotel. Eco friendly, without detriment to quality. Staff so helpful and lovely. Beds good quality bedding, comfy mattress. Our room had a Juliet balcony from which we could watch the New Forest ponies and their foals. Looking forward to our third stay this year very soon. Local amenities are great.

   Cottage Lodge Hotel is a wonderful place to stay. The staff are so welcoming and go above and beyond to make your stay brilliant. I only stayed one night but wish I had been able to stay there longer. The room had lovely decor and was spotlessly clean. Also the location is perfect, really central and close to beautiful walks in the forest.

   Loved our stay at Cottage Lodge. Great comms in advance of our stay, a lovely tea & cake welcome when we arrived. It’s in a great location in Brockenhurst, in walking distance to numerous pubs and the village centre. The service was exceptional - all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was fab, we were in Brusher Mills. Excellent breakfast - lots of choice, with locally sourced options. We’ll definitely return.

   Staying here was our first time travelling with my sister and her dog and we were a little apprehensive about how it would be. We needn’t have worried every staff member we interacted with was so dog friendly. The rooms were lovely and having a patio area outside the dog friendly room was an added bonus as we could all sit outside. Breakfast was delicious and there are lots of lovely pubs/restaurants within walking distance. Overall we had a wonderful stay.

   We have booked an overnight stay at the Cottage Lodge Hotel for our 1st wedding anniversary. Jackie who welcomed us on arrival was very nice, has served us very lovely tea and cake. The room we stayed in was spotless clean, with a very homey yet classy ambience. We had dinner in White Tails Restaurant and met the very friendly Ramsey, had our breakfast the next day in the same area, food and service was 100%. They have given us surprises which made our anniversary getaway even more memorable. Thank you very much, Cottage Lodge Hotel and White Tails Restaurant!

   Here for our one year wedding anniversary over New Years and had the most fantastic stay! The place is so beautiful and romantic. Lots of beautiful woodwork with wood from the forest around (four poster bed with birch trees - like sleeping in a forest!), locally sourced food (the breakfast was almost too good - absolutely amazing and wide range of things to select from, all freshly cooked!), locally produced and luxurious soaps, shampoos etc. The room was nice and spacious with a little pateo outside. Great bathroom and bathtub with shower. The people running it were so lovely, accommodating and interested in their guests. The place is also just around the corner from everything Brockenhurst has to offer: wild ponies, cute town centre, nature walks, tea rooms... It was simply wonderful and may well become a new habit!

   Maurizio and Francesca have a fabulous hotel! Fantastic location within walking distance to lots of fab restaurants and pubs as well as the New Forest itself to go walking/cycling/etc. and the train station, so it is easy if you are coming to or from London. Lovely clean room that was a really good size, plenty of room for us and our 3 month old and all his things! And lots of thoughtful details in terms of quality of the tea and coffee in the room, honesty bar, communal snug area, etc. that just made the stay that bit nicer. I would highly recommend Cottage Lodge!!

   We decided that we wanted to visit the New Forest in early October to celebrate a birthday, but we left the planning a bit to the last minute. When we looked for accommodation, we were getting a bit disheartened and started to think we would have not be able to find something that suited us, an environment with character but also cozy and suitable for a family with a young toddler, until we finally found the Cottage Lodge. The reality we met upon arrival stood up to our expectations. Our room was lovely, spacious and very clean. The furniture was carefully chosen and complemented the New Forest environment very well. The breakfast room (that also hosts a restaurant, which we didn’t try) is beautiful, with exposed beams and a very cozy feeling. The breakfast itself was delicious and served by lovely staff. We particularly appreciated the hotel attention to the environment, and the range of locally sourced products served at breakfast and available to purchase. Should we visit Brockenhurst again in the future, we will definitely be back!

   Stayed at the cottage lodge for a few days. Staff are extremely pleasant and happy to help. Great breakfast choice, lovely wee coffee and cake break on arrival. Room was great. All necessities provided, fan, fridge, extra blanket (winter only), safe and plenty of hanging room and storage. The team are very knowledgeable about the local area and will give you all the tips and recommendations you may need. There is also an honesty bar full of goodies that is accessible 24/7. If coming by car the team will allocate you a spot with a welcome sign. The lodge is well located in Brockenhurst, near the station and the shops. Plus there are always donkeys to be seen on the green out front. So please keep the gates closed wherever you go to keep the animals safe. Thanks to the team for looking after us, hopefully we'll see you again soon.
