   BEWARE STUDENTS. Horrific. Trying to take my deposit, despite renting us a flat covered in mould, broken washing machine and fridge that take months to be replaced. We have left the place in a better state than we found it (which was filthy). Neglegant, rude and essentially a scam to give you the worst living conditions and take your money. They hide behind the letting agent, Beal’s and ignored me since day 1 (except a visit where promises were made and never kept).

   Doesn't even deserve 1 star. Where do I begin. I rented a property in Shirley Road from Homlife and moved in November before. Within 4 weeks the entire property was infested with mould. Called Leaders (property managers) who are very much in league with Homelife and know of the properties problems. Yet they palm everything off onto your lifestyle that causes the problems and read from a script. The problem in the property I rented in Shirley Road had been ongoing for years as a long term tenant upstairs informed me and all Homelife done everytime a tenant moved out was give the place a lick of paint and ship the next tenants in ready to mug them off and do the same routine. Both Leaders and Homelife are a joke and I urge you to avoid at all costs! Was still washing the damp mouldy smells out of my clothes even after I moved out. Disgusting!

   Still suffering from breathing problems after living in one of their damp properties 7 years ago. Literally permanently damaged my lungs by using this letting agency. Tried to charge me money for the damp despite it being proven to be due to structural damage prior to my tenancy agreement. Tbh the whole company is just straight up and down a scam, they should be shut down.

   Homelife Lettings were very helpful for when I was looking for a home last October. They showed me a large (practically studio-sized!) double bedroom in Portswood Southampton and made the process very simple to sign on. HomeLife also made it very clear from the start what my rights, and their rights were as tenant and landlord, which I found reassuring. The staff are very friendly and were happy to help with anything, and maintenance and response was very fast.

   Home life came as a recommendation from a friend who lived in one of the housers for 3 years I’ve been here 2 years now. Couldn’t praise them enough, staff in the office are fantastic and are extremely helpful. In house Maintenance team very quick in dealing with any issues that we have had.

   I had a great experience with Homelife Lettings. I was renting a property with them for 4 years. The moving in process was smooth, the rent was fair and my apartment was great. I had a few maintenance issues over the years, as expected, but the maintenance team always responded very quickly. The office were always very helpful with any enquiries. I recently moved out, all of my deposit was returned and the property manager Georgie was very friendly and helpful in assisting me with this process.
