Unfortunately I never actually got to see my room as they cancelled 13 days before my stay without offering me suitable alternative accommodation. Lame explanation , no compensation. Hardly professional service. If you're looking forward to a hassle free stay with no worries I'd consider booking elsewhere
I had to spend three nights in Southampton and chose to try one of the new studios in Canute Road managed by Town or Country. For such a short stay it was ideal. Compact yet with all new fittings, its location opposite Ocean Village was perfect. Free laundry facilities are available on site. With the ongoing construction of an adjacent building I had my reservations about staying there. However, these were totally unfounded as the work is in the less noisy latter stages of completion. I was not disturbed by noise and had three good night's sleep. At the current rate available online it is a very good deal.
Great stay for 2 nights while on business in Southampton. Spotless and trendy studio apartment. Great location feet from Ocean Village and short walk into Southampton town centre. All amenities you could want, perfectly presented with amazingly comfy bed and glorious shower. Would definitely stay again!!
Town or Country was chosen as I had to partake in a 4 week course in Nursling. Southampton was the nearest choice. As I was on my own a studio apartment (Canute) was perfect. My course often involved working overnight and the housekeeping staff serviced the property only when I required. Previously I had always been woken up by hotel staff! The apartment was perfectly situated in the city with a good link to the M271 and centre. I enjoyed the discount card in some of the local restaurants/gyms too! Good value for money.
I would like to thank all the staff at Town or Country for helping me and my family out by giving us the best stay whilst we had an emergency visit to the city. With having our elderly grand father with us we needed a property with a lift and a balcony (as my granddad likes to sit out side with cup of tea in the morning). We stayed in their lovely 2 bedroom apartment in their Empress apartments it was gorgeous and had loads of space also the decor was beautiful. In fact we have already booked for next year in the same apartment again but for a break this time. Thank you again to all the staff for your help and service you have gave us whilst we were there.
We have used Town or Country to provide apartments and houses for touring cast members quite a few times and have always been really impressed with the service they have given us. Everyone who has stayed with them have said how lovely the accommodation has been and have been impressed by the high standard of properties. We will definitely be using them again and point any visitors to the city in their direction as they really do go the extra mile! Thank you!
