Wow it’s good to know that I was removed from the system then, even better service. We were with homehub for 6 months in 2022. March- August. I have all communications with them which I am more than happy to share with you. I escalated my issue and was told it was sent to an ombudsman and never heard anything since. Also not sure why my review did not show up but I will post it again. Please stay away from Homehub if you are new to the country. They will charge you an inflated price and then drop the price of rent a few days after you sign the contract. The manager John is completely unhelpful and is unfit to be a manager and he is also the director so there’s a definite problem if you ever try complaining he will never budge on his own opinions. Apartment was very old and was uninhabited for many years. The state in which we received the apartment was dreadful as we had to clean every inch of the place. From food stains on the carpet to tobacco and cigarette butts in between the couch. A disgraceful agency. I repeat PLEASE DONT DO ANY DEALING WITH HOMEHUB If John is involved.

I am a worker who want to rent a room but has been denied because I have kids. It has gotten to the level that they wouldn't allow me to view any of their property because I have kids that are not living with me. And I can't rent any of their rooms. Now I think this is wrong and some kind of discrimination And the staff I spoke to at approximately 16:50 today being 6th of March, 2023 was rude because i tried to explain my situation. The kids are not even living with me and I was to explain to them that by law the kids are not allowed to live we me in a room but I am allowed to see them. Where I decided to see my kids shouldn't be a problem. And kids don't have to come to my one room for heaven sake.

*Update* I was very keen to move into Dorval Manor, there was a huge lack of communication. I paid my holding fee and eventually paid the deposit when they got back to me. 2 days before I was surpose to move in I finally had some repsonse. Just to tell me they have not got the gas and electric certificate. They did not know when it was going to be done. Only allowing me 2 days before I could have became homeless. Thankfully they was another agency (look at my reviews) that were able to help me with the minimal time I had. Homehub is a company that do not care for their customers. They lack communication. It was all now hill.

I tried to rent a flat from HomeHub back in July 2021 and paid a holding deposit. It’s now almost 1 year on and I have just managed to get my deposit money back through taking them to small claims court. I was accused of lying, creating false emails/identities and hacking their system, etc. Luckily the judge who heard the case actually saw the truth hence why I got my money back! I should have never been treated this way at all and even though I have received my money back in full now, I haven’t had a single apology from any member of their team. Utterly disgraceful business - avoid at all costs if you don’t want any trouble!

THIEVES! The WORST housing agents in the UK... I don't usually leave Reviews but I'm appaled, disgusted and shocked by the way home hub treats it's tenants. You're better off homeless than wasting your money by choosing them. Here I will list some of the things they've done/would do again.... - Invade your privacy: on multiple occasions someone representing home hub went into MY room that I payed for with no notice and no right to do so (as stated in the tenancy agreement a 24 hour notice period is required). Like the time they arrived with a potential tenant to have a look at a room.... my room, while I was home. There's also no communication. When anyone is moving in; no notice whatsoever is given, a surprise new face in your home without notice can be startling to say the least. - Will not fix basic issues: the plumbing was done cheap and incorrectly leading to repeated issues with the sink and drainage, it would take MONTHS for them to send someone out and they would just unblock it, not fix the issue causing the problem. The oven broke down over and over again and again it took a long time for them to send someone out and still didn't fix that also. - Theft: Recently a Tenant had their expensive Jet ski Stolen from WITHIN the garden, they were understandably very shocked and worried (you're meant to feel safe leaving your stuff in your garden right?), when they phoned home hub to report it as Stolen (this was no easy task to steal as the garden is closed in, pics below), they were informed that it was infact home hub themselves that stole the Ski and trashed (really trashed) the garden whilst at it. When asked to return it, they claimed they stole it because it was 'abandoned'; trying to claim it was a previous tenants with no evidence to endorse this. Home hub's final response towards the upset tenant being for them to phone the police. Unacceptable, distressing and frankly very oppressive towards tenants who now feel and I quote "violated" in their own home. Why should anyone PAY to be have to live like this? This is just a few examples of how they treat people who rely on them. If you're here looking for a place to feel safe and call home, keep looking.

Myself and my daughter arrived on the Tuesday with me hoping to leave on Wednesday with my daughter safely in her new accommodation. We had several viewings lined up. Home hub were the only company who seemed any way professional and their accomodation was by far the best. Before we meet Lucy I have to saw I was reluctant about the service fees but her professionalism immediately won me over. Once the deposit was paid and paper work completed she even collected my daughter from the hotel and took her to her new accommodation. Highly recommended and thanks Lucy for making a stressful few days as painless as possible.

I viewed a house in Southampton through HomeHub and I found them very professional and very helpful. The agent that I contacted and who showed me the house was Lucy Richmond. She was is an excellent agent and is very professional. The house was lovely and within 3 days I had signed the lease and moved in. Excellent company and excellent staff.

The worse estate agency for students and young professionals in Southampton. Awful experience especially with the manager John and the agent Soph, both very rude and never keen in sorting out problems. When I moved in they didn't provide any mirror in any room, not even in the toilet. I personally was using the front camera of my laptop and the guys were shaving using the mirrored door of the microwave. Once I emailed them to give notice for a late payment, because I had a car crash and I was in the hospital. The manager John replied to my email saying that if I was late with the payment he would had given me a bad reference when I would move to another place. My worse experience ever in the UK. Luckily when I moved out, I didn't need any reference from them and also they gave me back the full deposit as I left the room immaculate and even more clean than it was, as you can see from the pictures.

I am a doctor/researcher working in University Hospital of Southampton, moved into Southampton almost a year now. Having had some experience renting different apartments/houses in different areas (due to my rotations in different hospitals) and dealing with various letting agents, I am truly happy and pleased with the service and hospitality of Home-Hub. Communication at the start was easy, very prompt and clear. Paperwork and logistics was straightforward. The Home-Hub agents have been very pleasant and helpful. And of-course, the property I rented has been a great place to live in for an amazingly descent price. Would certainly recommend contacting Home-Hub if looking for a property in Southampton!
