We had a lovely stay at the silk house - the room was great with a very comfy bed. It was lovely to meet Nicholas who looked after us well. We were sad to miss the live music on the Friday night!
I stayed last week-end for one night. The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Leek. The room was warm and cosy, overlooking the garden. It was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The service on arrival and with some questions I had about facilites in the area was very attentively dealt with. I I didnt take breakfast so can't comment on that. Overall, I would highly recommend the Silk House.
My wife and I visited Leek to meet friends. We stayed in the fabulous Silk House. Nick and his team were brilliant as hosts and nothing was too much trouble. They both made us feel welcome and had a chat in the bar before we left each night. Super location and parking was great. Would highly recommend.
Stayed here on 30th August. What a lovely hotel. Room was great. Hotel owners was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Wish we could have stayed an extra night
Had a lovely stay here. The room was clean and airy, and the bathroom is amazing. Sadly we didn't get to stay for breakfast as on call, but will definitely be rebooking when next in Leek.
Lovely old building, stylish rooms, welcoming host, would definitely recommend and planning another stay later in the year.
Great place and a great owner! We had a bit of a late emergency last night, I Had a issue were both My head lights stop working on my car on the way home from alton towers, I had the missis and 3 kids in the car it was 10:30 at night, dark and dangerous!! I gave silk house a call he was very polite and understood our situation, Accommodated me and my family and a propper thoughtful touch he bought hot chocolate up for the kids in the morning! It's a lovely friendly place and the rooms are perfect if we are ever over them ways in the future we will be 100% staying there for a propper night! Thank you for your hospitality.
Stayed one night to break up the Liverpool uni run. Lovely hosts and a comfortable quirky little hotel, spotlessly clean and perfect for what we needed. Situated on the high street so traffic noise in the day was a little loud but very quiet in the evening/overnight. Bath was huge but tended to run the hot water out to fill so our advice would be fill it in stages (to be fair that was at 8am). The option of a cooked breakfast in the morning would have been nice but the fresh baked croissants, bread and fruit were lovely, as was arranging the timings of it around us. Would recommend a stay here.
What a find, fantastic building and a fantastic host. Loved the overall feel of the place from booking in until we left. Continental breakfast was excellent and I could of drunk the coffee all day, it was superb. Great overall service with some very helpful knowledge of the surrounding area. We are planning our next trip already!
