Bar pub in Leek

“Great to find a good range of Belgian beers, including several zero alcohol beers. Sadly, there was no bar food available when we were there. Very friendly staff. Live music in the courtyard made for a great atmosphere.”

“Welcoming safe pub especially for females entering on their own. Bar staff are excellent and a good variety of alcoholic drinks and bar snacks. Jukebox is brilliant.”

“Not sure if this pub is still open but went in last year and the decor is amazing. Very old school. The beers are local as are the people inside. Very welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.”

“Found whiskey and wine whilst looking for antique shops. Amazing little gem with some brilliant whiskeys rums wines and gins. Most importantly a really helpful, friendly chap with a brilliant knowledge of the booze. It was such a good experience you have to go, it made our day to meet someone with such a passion for what they do. Thank you, we will be back.”

“Visited here for a spa day to celebrate my birthday. The spa is very small so we only booked for a 4 hour session, worrying we might get bored. However, the time absolutely flew by and we wished we had longer! We had the mill wheel back massage, which was excellent. We also booked in for afternoon tea, which was delicious and very generous portions. Would definitely recommend.”

“Amazing food and friendly service, not badly priced but the atmosphere could be improved slightly. It's very well decorated and has a nice vibe but the lighting is really bright, it could feel a lot cosier if it was a little softer with the lights. A great place to eat though.”

“first time visited, arrrived 1:50pm on Wednesday, all desserts are £5 only. the service was good and the food that we ordered were tasty. buffalo chicken wings almost charged £1 per wing. the confit belly pork, steak pie and sea baa were delicious. both crumbles and sticky toffee pudding with custard were values for money (£5 per dessert on wednesday)”

“We booked a table for 10 plus infant to celebrate my partners’ 60th birthday. What a fantastic decision that was. The staff could not have been more helpful. The food was fantastic and extremely good value. I contacted them in advance and they made a delicious birthday cake to serve at the end of the meal and even put up birthday bunting. “Lovely cafe with great atmosphere, tasty food and coffee expertly brewed and served. Highly recommend it. Leek is a Quainton and beautiful town as well. A group of 6 of us were accommodated for lunch by friendly staff and really enjoyed it!”

“We stayed in our camper van overnight here , had a lovely welcome from both hosts Jenny and Lee , bar comfy and friendly , had a fabulous meal in the evening which was hot freshly cooked and huge! “We stayed in our canper van in the beautifully laid out car park. Paying to park overnight gave us a voucher for 10% off our restaurant order which was brilliant. The food and the beer were really good, the indoor eating area was cosy and the staff were lovely. We'll definitely be back.”
