“Nice comfortable pub with a large selection of Titanic Brewery ales (brewed down the road in Stoke), plus a couple of guest ales. Had the Totally Leek Burger which was just £7.95 for a very tasty burger garnished with cheese, bacon and salad, along with fries and onion rings - all sourced as locally as possible. A modest portion but really good quality and perfect for lunch.”

“Nice canalside pub. Stopped off for a lager and coffee. Idyllic setting. Updated Feb 2023. Had Sunday lunch. Delicious. Downside was the service. 50 minutes to get the meal and others who came in and ordered after us were served before us somehow.”

“we stayed in the triple bed room for two adults and child, clean room and bright with bathroom, all self service,code at the front of the accommodation and a code at your room door. Slept well in the massive comfortable bed.”

“Three of us went for food and to watch the line music. Nothing disappointed us. Friendly accommodating staff, great music, delicious, piping hot food. Two of us had steak & ale pie. Suet pastry topped bowl, loads of tasty meat and gravy. No need for an extra jug. One of us had their beef burger, so big it had to be dismantled! Lots of chips and fresh veg, we had 2 extra veg sides too. Nothing to complain about, just wholly recommend. Meals around £15 each. Sides about £3 each. Will certainly be going back for more!”

“I came back to Stoke after a year away, ended up heading down after a recommendation from some friends, the landlady straightaway made me feel welcome and added to the great atmosphere overall. Good prices on drinks, has great entertainment nights like Karaoke etc and overall, just a great place to go to relax and hang out with friends. Highly recommended, it is my new go to local now I am back in Stoke.”

“We booked the function room upstairs for a hen party and it was perfect! The perfect size for what we needed and the staff were so helpful. We booked grazing boards for the event with the chef and they were absolutely brilliant. Couldn't recommend them more. The drinks from downstairs were delicious and well priced. “Served by James C extremely well looked after. My little boy has allergies and the attention he took making sure all possible safety measures were in place was very impressive. Time spent conversing and paying attention to my son and even let him put pictures up within the restaurant which made his day. Food excellent as always and great hot selection.
