Amazing experience. Wolodymyr is a wonderful host, with great stories and details about Buxton and its features. The breakfasts are incredible and portions leave no room for desire. We have family nearby and this will be our base for future trips.
Beautiful hotel! We wish we could have stayed longer. The owner Wol is a fantastic host and a fountain of knowledge and made our stay all the more special. Also very yummy breakfast!
Great place to stay. Vegetarian breakfast was excellent, with a lot of attention to detail. Quiet location, comfy bed and various complimentary extras such as fruit and mineral water provided. Internet TV was good for iPlayer and other channels. Easy to walk into the centre of Buxton for an evening meal. Some parking spaces onsite plus other parking readily available nearby.
Excellent place with lots of period furniture. Owners attention to detail is second to none. Comfiest beds! In room fridge filled with complimentary Buxton water. Fruit bowl. Slippers, robes also provided, toiletries too. Amazing vegetarian breakfast with a vast choice on 2 pages of A4 paper.

What an amazing stay. The rooms are lovely, with high quality bedding and furnishings and lots of little extras so definitely value for money. The breakfasts are amazing too, the only problem was trying to decide as it is so varied. Our daughter is vegan and, as this B&B is meat-free, it's nice to go somewhere with so much choice. Both myself and my partner are meat-eaters but we found PLENTY to fill us up (vegan sausage is fabulous)plus portions are very generous. Staff couldn't do enough for us and really attentive and friendly. Location is excellent, just a 5 minutes walk to centre and just down the road from Buxton Country Park. The only problem with writing a good review is that you'll also want to go and they might be fully booked for when we want to return but this is a gem that deserves to be shared so go ahead, book today - you won't be disappointed!
Superb b&b for myself and two teens in princess room. Fresh fruit, water in room. Property meticulously decorated, fresh flowers everywhere. Utterly charming and very welcoming and helpful owners. 10 minute walk from train station. Breakfast food so fresh, very generous portions. Will definitely stay again
It wasn’t me that stayed here but a friend who I was helping in a local 100mile running race. However, never have I seen such a warm welcome from anyone anywhere. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble for us over the weekend and we were spoiled rotten with support and the most beautiful, fresh, home made food (and excellent coffee.) Just the best. It was the icing and the cherry on the top of an incredibly memorable weekend. Thankyou SO much
