Very disappointed. Turned up for it to be closed even though it says open online! Travelled out of my way to come here and get all the bits I needed. Tried calling multiple times no answer…

Visited Crowthorne angling recently before a weekend fishing trip. As a match man I used to frequently use CAC for bait and topping up terminal tackle. I am a big believer of using my local tackle shops instead of giving my money to larger shops such as Angling direct. However I was shocked to see how little was on the shelves in terms of tackle and bait across both match and carp sections. It was a great shame to see and I do hope that CAC can turn it around a become the shop it used to be.
Popped in today on the of chance of Maggots on a Sunday. A wonderful shop a staff knowledgeable and happy to talk Nd advise on venues. Recommended highly.

Great shop, nice people, well priced. What more can you ask. Also did a quick eye repair on an old carp rod. Very good service.
Went in today and was really pleasantly surprised at the good customer service I received. Apparently under new management now. On the journey to the shop my daughter and I had just been saying that although the shop had been well stocked before we had found the service from the prior owners very poor. We were really impressed today with the huge amount of stock held and the friendly service we received. We will be going back in the future.
I had the pleasure of discovering this little gem of a tackle shop whilst visiting family (I live overseas)... What's can I say? Friendly, knowledgeable, well stocked shop... Will definitely be there next time I'm in the UK.... There are a couple of dodgy comments on here... When I was in the shop there was a decidedly 'dodgy' customer who was dealt with courteously, and firmly, well done Nina!! If you are in the area check them out!
