Just returned home after 43 of our church group enjoyed an excellent christmas lunch here again. This is the 4th or possibly 5th year we've come here and thats due to lovely tasty food & very good service at a great quiet rural venue. Mrs Hollins and her team did us proud. Would highly recommend.
60 pensioners and myself enjoyed a wholesome well cooked meal in very pleasant surroundings. And a walk around a beautiful garden.TOP HOLE day.
Visited this lovely farmhouse today and must say the hole was well worth the visit the service was excellent the food amazing good old fashioned home made food it's been along time since I've enjoyed the vegetables on my plate this place is well worth a visit
No hesitation in recommending this family run B&B and tea room. It is a working farm just off a very quiet country main road. There is no traffic noise. Accommodation was traditional for a guest house/B&B. Our room was large and airy and perfectly clean. There was also a communal area with TV lounge, dining area and kitchen. We didn't use this but good for longer stays maybe with family. Breakfast was ample, plenty of choice and served promptly. We enjoyed our stay here.
Our cycling group went there today. The service and staff were superb. Food, tea and coffee were excellent. Thank you so much. Beautiful tearooms and fabulous gardens.

Thank you Sarah, Mary, Jan, Jenny and all the other super girls for another 12 months of amazing teas , snacks, celebration meals and the Sunday lunch that sets a very high benchmark! Had lunch today 5-11-23, post swim at Essex Bridge. Amazing, beautifully cooked food and service. EXCELLENT, quality and value for money. WHAT A GEM. My first visit but certainly, not my last.
On Wednesday we were on a mystery coach trip and arrived at marsh farm for lunch. What a treat beautiful food great service. I hope we come back. I have shared your name with others.
Beautiful B&B, a lovely, friendly welcome on our arrival, our room was immaculate and breakfast the next day was amazing everything had been thought of. Will definitely stay again next time we are in the area. Oh and the cows in the barn were very friendly too! 5* all day long.
