We stayed here whilst helping family members move house. Nice spot, away from the motorway enough, so no traffic noise.

It’s a tired roadside Travelodge, however it was spotlessly clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel needs updating, but I’ve rarely stayed in a somewhere as immaculately clean

Because of weather and M6 traffic had a stopover here. Great find and just off M6. Room was clean and bed comfy. Great location and not pricey

Very clean throughout. Very friendly helpful staff. All on one level, flat surface from car park to rooms and a short distance if your mobility is dodgy like mine. Great value £25.99 for a clean comfortable, all functioning perfectly good room.

Place is an environmental health issue. Booked to stay here back in august for 3 nights(only realising to leave a review now) pulled up in the car park with my partner and children I don’t know how many rats we seen but it was enough to have my skin crawling. The door to the travel lodge wide open I checked in and mentioned to the reception about the rats in the car park they acknowledged that they have a going issue with them. went down the hall which smelt like weed. Got to my room smelly and dirty again window wide open that rats could make way in. Bait box in the room behind the bin to catch any which didn’t reassure me any. When back to my car to my kids an partner when there was a massive rat directly under my car that my children where in eating some kfc rubbish which there is lots of rubbish in car park place is a dive! I went back to reception to tell the lady working again about the rats and that I was petrified to stay and diddnt actually feel safe. She said she had already write on my booking that I wasn’t happy about the rats etc. this left me an my family to drive late at night looking for somewhere else to stay last minute an I had to pay into a different hotel. (We aren’t from England and had just got of the boat) when I got home I when to complain to try an get my money back for the 3 nights saying we didn’t stay and I soon realised they have the complaint system set up that it is near impossible to complain as u cannot ring an speak to anyone u have to fill out a form and wait until they get back to u an once they do u cannot respond I had explained I had booked for 3 nights an only got refunded for 1 filled out another complaint form got no response think it’s a joke an I wouldn’t waist your money staying here!

Upon checking in, my partner and I were given room 17. We opened up the pillow packs kept within the wardrobe (they were not sealed) to find them covered in make up remains and what appeared to be drool. We then inspected our bed, to find hairs, stains and more make up on the bed linen. However, the bed had been made perfectly. It appears someone was to lazy to change the bedding. We then took our concerns to a jolly lady on reception, whom took us to room 26 where she assured us “I know myself this room is clean”. We inspected the spare pillows, bed linen which appeared up to standard however our new room was a family room, which a children’s spare bed in the corner. When you lifted these wheats they were covered in what looked like vomit. I know if I had my children with me I would of been appalled for them to stay in this. As the bed was made and the stains had been “hidden” inside the bed. Dirty. Stained. Unclean.

A really good night's sleep. All the staff were friendly and couldn't have been more helpful really went above and beyond. Was so peaceful we ended up staying an extra night.

Rooms were a bit dated, but comfortable night and good service. No noise, and staff were happy to provide extra towel and a travel cot for our little one.

Stayed at this travelodge on many occasions. Always met with a friendly welcome. Matt is usually on when we arrive. Helpful, friendly and always a smile on his face. Nothing seems too much trouble for him. Room is always spotlessly clean and warm. Comfy beds and soft fluffy towels. Won’t stay at any other travelodge. Thank you for making my stay stress free.

We arrived to be greeted by Karen, she had a room ready for us, which was lovely and clean she was also very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Easy access from the motorway. With a Greggs on hand for breakfast. Would most definitely recommend.
