I was blown away! The entire experience was so classy and very entertaining. The best Michael Jackson impersonator that I’ve ever seen live. He did a fantastic job. And the establishment were fantastic host.
The Lyric Rooms recently hosted a private function where I had the joy of entertaining. The venue looked stunning, beautifully decorated to set the perfect atmosphere. The food smelled incredible and from all the feedback I heard, it tasted just as fantastic. A huge thank you to Celleste and the team, who were friendly, professional, and ensured every guest had a wonderful experience. I truly hope to return and create more magical moments there again soon.
The Lyric Rooms hosted a fantastic 50th Birthday Party for us. The venue was beautifully decorated and Vanessa and Celleste liaised directly with local suppliers to ensure a smooth lead up to the event with balloons, lights and cake all perfect. The catering was fantastic and many guests commented on how delicious the buffet was - we chose pulled pork and the crackling was out of this world! Bar service and doorman were professional. We brought our own DJs and the venue was very accommodating. All in all a great experience and we had a wonderful celebration, thank you
We got married at The Lyric Rooms on Saturday 25 October 2025. The whole day from start to finish was absolutely wonderful and more than we had dreamed of. Celleste, Vanessa, Matt and the team were attentive and extremely helpful, from the first venue viewing right through to the very last minute of our Wedding Day, with personal attention given to every detail. The venue is a hidden gem. Move past the Georgian facade and you feel like you are in another world which incorporates a beautiful chapel and a stunningly presented function room, which is glittering and stylish. The food which was supplied by WB Catering was sublime. Delicious and plentiful, both for the wedding breakfast and the sumptuous evening buffet. The service was friendly, efficient and discreet and every need was catered for. The atmosphere was intimate and vibrant and the love flowed. We cannot express how truly wonderful our experience was. We knew it would be fabulous but, even so, it far exceeded all of our expectations. An absolute dream. We were thrilled. If you are planning a wedding or an event check out The Lyric Rooms, you will not be disappointed. Our heartfelt thanks to all for making our day truly memorable.
Wonderful venue, with the refurb keeping the original charm, yet improving on how it was. An excellent night of comedy (and other functions) to be had here.
Very disappointing..afternoon tea for 5 not enough sandwiches and too many cakes..put by the door and was very cold and drafty..could hardly hear the choir..would we go again definitely not..
