Starters was very nice, but very disappointing with the roast dinners!, we ordered 3 and they all came out only lukewarm and the roast potatoes was not fresh!, they was like they had been cooked the day before!. We will not be going back there again anytime soon

Good sunday lunch and location. Service was welcoming and polite. Loads of car parking to the rear of the pub. Reasonably priced in a competitive market. Will revisit in the futures. Clean and welcoming venue.

We had Sunday lunch there about 6 weeks ago. It was one of the best roasts I've had in a long time. So yesterday we returned, this time it was almost inedible. The Yorkshire pudding was burnt to a crisp on one side and soggy on the other. The beef was cut in thin slices like you can buy from the supermarket and tasteless. The roast potato's were soft and undercooked. In fact they seemed to be those bought in ones. Sorry but going from a great meal to having this quality served was a big disappointment.

We’ve popped in while travelling through. My god the food was amazing. All fresh and homemade. The owners are so lovely too. I would highly recommend this pub. We travel a lot as caravaners and this is definitely one of the best places to eat.

Popped in whilst out for a dog walk and ended up staying for lunch. Lovely village pub, great hosts and were very accommodating to the 6 adults and 5 dogs in tow. Food was wholesome and very nice. Would definitely visit again if in the area.

The owners were very welcoming on our arrival. The room was clean and basic. We were seated in a very cold part of the pub for our morning breakfast, there was an open fire but it wasn't lit. Breakfast was ample.

Very cozy atmosphere, tables set out really nicely. We had a selection of nibbles for lunch; pigs in blankets, chicken bites with sweet chilli dip and houmous with olives. All very tasty. The hosts were very cheerful and helpful.

First time visiting here and it was such a lovely find. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The interior was cosy and is pet friendly. The owners were also lovely and very approachable. As you can see in the photo the food was amazing and worth your money. Definitely looking forward to coming back again.
