We hired the Arena eventing facility at Wellington for my two daughters and it was one of the best experiences. The Wellington riding school is a high class establishment with fantastic facilities. The outdoor arena is very large, on our visit it was set up with a full size show jumping area, a full size dressarge ring and and eventing area with many eventing style jumps of various heights on the sand arena as well as a water feature, a raised grass bank with a jump on top and another grass jump. All of the jumps were of high quality. The girls also enjoyed the lovely cafe and a well stocked tack shop with lots of their favorite brand LeMieux.

Weird exchange over email with rude, entitled and unhelpful staff. Requested information on their timetable for children, but they refused to share information until my daughter turns 5 in a couple of weeks. I cannot understand why they can't say "we do private / beginners classes on these days / times" to see if they work with our schedule. Palmers stables are way more kind, friendly and accommodating in my experience.

I came from the United States this summer and did a sleepaway camp here! Most of it was very good! Their cabins are nicely kept as well as the stables. The food was pretty good too! However each rider rides 3 hours a day on the same pony which is just overworking them in my opinion. Also I was disappointed we did not get to go xc like the riding instructors said we would. My group had Dan and he was a pretty good trainer ( he also took videos for our group which I appreciated). Also for some people they would give you ponies not matched to your skill level and it was very frustrating and they were not very willing to give you the option to try a different one. I did enjoy the show in the last day, we had a group drill ride and show jumping course where we got rosettes. Over all Wellington is a pretty fun camp to come to Iβm just not sure if itβs worth coming again considering they wonβt really let you jump over 70cm and the over usage or the ponies.

Brilliant place, so peaceful and they have great equipment and facilities. Watched loads of lessons taking place of young and older people. Staff seemed very knowledgeable

We just enjoy being around horses and the spacious, modern CafΓ© is the perfect venue for a relaxing time watching riders and instructors demonstrating their skills over the jumps, around the dressage arenas or just learning to ride in the indoor areas. The food is brill, breakfast, lunch of tea and cake and everyone seems so friendly. I think we'll be becoming regulars!

Stayed at Wellington Riding for a dressage camp. The facilities are first class, the welcome by the staff was great but in particular the cafe is great. Bev who looked after us was amazing and couldnβt go out of her way more to make us welcome!

My grand daughter, Summer, had her first lesson with Lexi, who was absolutely fantastic instilling confidence into a nervous twelve year old. Bold, the 10 year old pony was also an ideal partner. Can't wait till the next lesson
