   Very sad to say that the service level is slowly going down on my last visit to buy euro I was told that the rate on the window display is for £1000.00 and as I had already got some euro's a couple of weeks before when you could get the window rate for just £400 and not the £1000. I booked my holiday with them but that did not help so I decided to take English money with me as you get a better rate in Greece.

   Visited 8th Feb '23 to book an air ticket to a family funeral. Hays would not accept a credit card payment saying cash or a direct bank transfer only. That would deprive me of my protection given by the Consumer Credit Act. I walked away and will never go back there. Not recommended. Afterwards I phoned the airline and was able to book on the phone at the same price quoted by Hay's Travel. Paid by credit card. No issues. What is really odd is that almost all reviews here are glowing 5 stars, while on Trustpilot almost all reviews are 1 star and very critical of Hays. So who is telling porkies to game the system? Would be useful to identify if any of these reviews are planted by Hays employees, relatives or friends.

   Been a customer of Hays Travel since when they were foremerly Bath Travel (about 14yrs) and never used anyone else. They always deliver excellent service. Very friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Steven is an asset to the company. Do not trust any other Travel agency with my travel arrangements.
