i came here to play pool with some friends , i had never been before and it was really nice !! the guy working i think his name was james ? he was so lovely :) i’ll definitely come again when i can !!!
Last time we all came a few months ago the vibe and music was great, like a commercial bar now
A brilliant place and wonderful people. Great staff, events and community involvement. Nice outdoor seating area with heaters, large range of drinks. Good music and frequent live music, as well as pool tables.
Incredibly rudely asked by the manger to move out of the way of a door that I wasn't even blocking or covering (people still freely moving in and out). Denied her politely due to her rude nature of request and then proceeded to hide behind me and other queing members while getting ID'd on entry so she could ask the security to deny my entry. Been attending social for years and never had issue with poor staff behaviour before but a seemingly bad mood of the staff member being taken out on patrons should have some internal questions asked
The cocktails were amazing and the staff were lovely. Great atmosphere, nothing but laughter and fun. Nice seating and tables with heat lamps in the outdoor space.
I've not experienced the ground floor bar but the top bar, as a function room and meeting place, is good. A separate bar, sound system and facilities - all work well for a private party.
Lovely laid back bar stroke lounge. The drinks are ore student orientated beer and simple cocktails. The music is amazing ..good blend of old school hip hop and new beats. There is live music with open mic on a Wednesday which is well worth it. The bar is also dog friendly the staff really down to earth and do as much to make you feel welcome. There is plenty of sofas for a laid back experience..cone with friends or a group or come alone and make new friends! All in all a great lounge for chilling out and having a relaxed drink. There are also two pool tables as well.
I don’t know what you consider a pizza but this certainly doesn’t look or taste like one to me. The shoestring fries are also not what shoestring fries are supposed to be. My food arrived at room temperature and I’m thoroughly disappointed. As you can see from the picture, I tried to give it a chance but I couldn’t eat it. EDIT: for some reason it won’t allow me to upload the photos.
