We had our wedding here 25.10.25 and every staff member went above and beyond to make it special. They were all lovely and accommodating and every one of our guests said how amazing the food was and how beautiful venue was too! It was right within our budget too and we would 100% recommend!
We recently had our wedding at Ampfield Golf Club, and it was the most perfect day from start to finish! The team were absolutely incredible — everything ran so smoothly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was outstanding, especially the brisket on the barbecue – our guests are still talking about it! The venue itself is beautiful, and the staff have really nailed every detail — from the organisation to the friendly, professional service. We honestly wish we could do it all over again. It truly was the best day of our lives, and we can’t thank the team enough. A huge credit to everyone at Ampfield Golf Club for making it so special. ❤️ Mark and Celeste
Tricky par 3, great value at 12 quid for 18 holes. Greens were a little patchy and mats were being used as tees in the summer. Still enjoyed ourselves, the girl working the bar was very friendly!
Great for the shirt game, lovely setting good price for golf lovely ambiance bar food, etc. Highly recommended .
Lovely course. Well suited to beginners but also challenging for experienced golfers looking to develop short game. Greens in great condition for time of year. Friendly coach on site and nice clubhouse. Tee boxes were under repair when we went but winter mats were top notch.

Had a great Sunday lunch here. The food was top notch, and generous portions. Very reasonable too as they are running a set menu.
We (Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists, Hursley) had our Christmas party here on the evening of 10th December. Everyone had a great time. The staff were on the go for the entire evening, making sure our glasses were never dry. Food was good, only feedback would be the labelling of vege and vegan food was lacking, so it was hard to know what was on the table. But a minor things within a fantastic night. Thanks all.
Went here for a do a friend’s retirement party! Lilly and Ashleigh were amazing from start to finish! What amazing bar staff! Everyone had the best time so thank you so much! ❤️
We attended a wedding on 13/08/22 Stunning venue, only had 6 young girls running the show who was very polite, but unfortunately had no organisation, they brought out the knives and forks and main course, and not a condiment in sight on any of the tables !! NOT a adult / manage on site to take charge of what should be a very special day. And then to see the bride in tears , because the deserts that was arranged with the meal was overlooked, and guests had to wait over 30/40 minutes for the chef to come up with a desert, in which was a 2" square chocolate brownie with a small dollop of ice cream or cream. There was 6 to a table and not 1 plate of desert was cleared !! As the guests didn't enjoy it.And a chocolate fountain with strawberries was also forgotten by the staff !! Beautiful weather great church wedding shame that the venue let it down.
