   8 days waiting for a quote but nothing but unanswered emails. Finally the only action taken was to return items to auctioneers. A total disaster. The other reviews can’t possibly reflect how this on man operation functions. AVOID unless you want to lose a week waiting for nothing to happen. It would appear Mr Hassan is adept in the art of posting fake reviews!

   Hassan and his team at Pack & Send - Newbury are exceptional. I have probably used dozens of shipping services around the UK, sourcing items from various auction houses, and this business stands out for its very fair pricing, packaging care and high general service.

   There were 4 antiques that Pack and Send packaged and shipped to me through DHL Express. While Pack and Send did a good job packing the items, the glass on one of the antiques was still shattered in transit. Pack and Send insured the item against damage or loss. I have sent several emails to Pack and Send asking how to go about filing a claim against the insurance but they will not respond. I called DHL and they informed me that I cannot initiate a claim. It must be done by the shipper (Pack and Send). So I am now stuck with a damaged antique and have no recourse since Pack and Send will not respond to me. The take away is this....If you are shipping something, you may very well receive it in good shape and have a good experience with Pack and Send. But if something is lost or damaged, Pack and Send will not assist you in any way. And since they are the only ones that can initiate a claim, it is their obligation to follow through with making a claim. Be aware! I would not use them again.

Anne from Newbury pack and send carefully packed my painting and kept me informed along the way. I highly recommend Pack and send Newbury and thank you Anne for fantastic service!    I have recently received two shipments, one sea, one air, of precious ceramic ornaments, antique paintings and a Victorian desk, all packed and arranged by Rod at Pack and Send , Newbury. He was extremely professional, very understanding of my specific requirements and the way everything was packed for shipping was incredible and ensured everything arrived totally intact. Rod made a very daunting task very easy and I would have no hesitation at all in recommending him and his services to anyone. I am extremely grateful.

   It was my first time working any shipment company in United Kingdom. And i am very impressed with Pack & Send Newbury. Specially working with Ann Taylor was great she helped and explained every step of the shipment and she took care the antiques the best way. Everything went perfectly.    We were updating/remodeling the look in our family room and I was looking for a unique mirror that was pretty but also added a wow factor for our 2 story fireplace wall. I found it but it was only sold in the UK. Rod was such a huge help and pleasure to work with having the mirror shipped from the UK to the US as this was no easy task given that the mirror was 58" in diameter. Rod worked with me in having the mirror being delivered to his business after I purchased it online and then building a secure crate to have it shipped from the UK to the US. He communicated with me every step of the way including pricing, custom forms and tracking during the delivery process. Rod's courtesy and professionalism is beyond measure as he met and surpassed every expectation during this process and being across the pond. I never doubted the care he would take in delivering the mirror to us in one piece. We fully trusted him and felt assured in his capabilities.

   I highly recommend you use Pack & Send Newbury for all your moving or shipping needs! I could not be more pleased with the excellent service and fair costs from owner Rod Taylor and his organization. In my case, I was considering a bid on some fragile items at a nearby auction house, contingent on being able to find someone to collect, pack and ship them to me in the United States. I emailed Pack & Send Newbury with a few questions, and I received a reply within a very short time. After winning the bid, I informed Rod, who promptly collected my items from the auction house and shipped them to me. I was kept informed every step of the way. I was extremely pleased with the care and quality of packing; truly the best I have ever seen. Overall it was a smooth and flawless "beginning to end" experience, especially considering everything was done via email! I will be using Pack & Send Newbury again. Thank you Rod! Drew G.
