A fantastic place to learn music. I've been learning with these guys for quite some time now and my playing has improved massively. I would recommend Southampton arts academy to anyone looking to learn a musical instrument.
I had private drum lessons here, I had an extremely positive experience. I learned a lot and my teacher was excellent, super helpful, and had extensive knowledge in multiple musical diciplines. I wish I could have had more lessons (personal circumstances have made this impossible, NOT the academy). I loved my time here and would highly recommend! You will not regret your decision.
My daughter has had weekly singing lessons here for the past 18 months. Hossein has coached her brilliantly through the syllabus as well as supporting her to prepare for auditions & performances. She recently received a distinction in her L3 Musical Theatre course at college which she is unlikely to have achieved without Hossein's tuition. We cannot thank you enough for your contribution to her performing arts development.
Great place to learn music : I have been taught here for 9 years. The owner is passionate about art in general and I have learnt lots - about to do grade 8 next year. Would highly recommend for younger children as the lessons are made fun and interesting and are tailored to each child’s individual needs. I enjoy my time here very much and is perfect for anyone who’s interested in music and art.

My 5 year old did his piano lessons consistently at Southampton Arts academy for over a year. He did private lessons with Mr Hossein who was very good , professional and patient. Southampton Arts Academy are always friendly and great with comms. I have keyboard/piano lessons and they are well structured but flexible to my learning pace. It’s more than fine when I need to revisit pieces or ask questions along the way - all part of learning. During the pandemic the lessons have shifted online and this works really well. We just direct our cameras so we can see the keys. Would recommend.
