   Staff are generally unhelpful, and unfriendly. I have been prompted to do this review after having to have several calls with a different insurance company who’s staff were all so lovely, helpful and friendly. Such a massive contrast to the obstructive and condescending attitudes of all but one of the many Staysure staff I had to deal with over a few weeks. They made the experience so stressful when it didn’t need to be. Dealing with Staysure’s rival company was a totally different experience. The rival had friendly staff who were not just respectful but tried really hard to give a great service from their base in Wales. Staysure staff could not be bothered to be pleasant, let alone friendly.

   If and when you try to leave, they will harass you to within an inch of your life. Daily emails and texts for weeks running up to the expiry date. I dread seeing their name pop up. This is exacerbated by the reason I left, which was that my renewal quote was more than double what big-name competitors quoted me.

   Tried to claim for some lost/stolen electrical equipment in April 2025. Despite company claiming they had tried to make payment, nothing arrived and bank said it was not true. No attempt had been made. Very difficult to get through to help centre- expect 45 minute wait time on average. Sometimes longer. Went through formal complaints procedure which ended yesterday I’ve heard nothing! Very poor company!

   Not the company of the past. Now it's apparently a cheap 3rd party broker, fully managed overseas. I've had multiple policies over the past few years for my family, one claim, all good, great service... But not any more. Claims procedure is categorised, many categories fob you off to a 3rd party directly via email or phone. In my case I just got an email address.. my email got no reply for over a week. Staysure continued to fob me off saying I have to liaise only with the 3rd party, despite being the policy vendor. I eventually phoned the 3rd party and was told their inbox was full, at that moment they stated I'd receive a link to an online claim form. It arrived. Diabolical! You've been warned.

   Absolutely a SCAM – Avoid at All Costs! Everything seems fine with this insurance company until you actually need to make a claim. I filed for missed departure compensation after a severe flight delay, while traveling alone with an infant. Our flight was massively delayed, and I had no support. My baby was distressed, exhausted, and it became unbearable to stay at the airport all night. I made the difficult decision to go home and book a new flight for the next day, thinking surely the insurance would understand and support us. WRONG. They rejected my claim, saying it was my fault I missed the departure. Excuse me?! If the flight hadn’t been delayed and if I wasn’t abandoned with a struggling infant overnight, I NEVER would’ve missed it. Isn’t that exactly why travel insurance exists? To help when things go wrong through no fault of your own? To make matters worse, they dragged the claim process out for months, making me jump through hoops with endless forms, receipts, and document requests. They kept asking for the same information over and over again, stuff I already submitted with my original claim! It was clear they were just stalling and looking for excuses not to pay. In the end, after all the stress and emotional toll, they decided I wasn’t eligible – in their opinion. Not based on any real empathy or logic, just their interpretation. It's absolutely infuriating. I felt completely dismissed and helpless. I honestly believe most of the positive reviews are from people who never actually had to make a claim. Sure, the price might be cheap, but when it really matters – they are nowhere to be found. I’ve never felt so let down. NEVER AGAIN. Spend a little more for a company that actually supports you in all

   Last year I had to cancel my holiday as my husband's hip replacement surgery collided with our holiday! Staysure were brilliant helping me through the cancellation and I did get most of my money back. I would recommend them to anyone, in fact I am using them again for this year's holiday.

   After trying a well known comparison site and being offered UK travel insurance at £500+ for one week, l tried Staysure. Their price was £88 for a comprehensive policy and, considering our quoted health problems, we think that is very reasonable. Will definitely use again. Thanks.

   I got many quotes for travel insurance. I have extensive health issues. The website was easy to manoeuvre around and find what I was looking for. I got my quote quickly after filling in details. This was the best quote I got to travel in 2023. I thought it would be too expensive but it was very competitive. Thank you Staysure for making it possible for me to go on holiday.

   I have nothing but praise for Staysure. When all seemed too difficult to comprehend, Staysure sorted me out almost perfectly. I commend the people I dealt with for their help and clarity. I was also very impressed when some days later, Staysure rang me up to clarify my complex travel itinerary, because the person who dealt with me originally was concerned that they hadn’t got it quite right. So, excellent service so far, for which, as a older traveller I am immensely grateful. Highly recommended..
