Excellent swim school with talented instructors. Kat has been my daughter's swimming instructor for the past 6 months and I could've asked for a better teacher. They connected right away and my daughter quickly built confidence in water. Choosing a swim school can be daunting and from my experience, Wessex Swim School will definitely give your child the opportunity to learn how to swim.
Really amazing swimming place. Kay is absolutely amazing and her teaching is fantastic. My son loves it here. Not so many kids in one stage, so kids really get the attention from Kay. She is really good with the kids and a very lovely lady. Definitely recommend this place to get kids started on swimming lessons.
Previously, my little boy had lessons with another local company. He was in a group of 8, and after 12 lessons he had made no progress at all, and even still lacked the confidence to put his head underwater. From the very first lesson with Wessex Swim School he has just flown, and after a couple of months with his incredible swim teacher, Kay, he has progressed through his ducklings 1, 2, 3 & 4 and is now on Stage 1! My son adores Kay, he trusts her, and he knows he is safe, so his confidence in the pool now is amazing. With only 3 children in a group, she tailors the lessons to their individual abilities, which is brilliant. Now he can't wait for his lessons each week! The pool is lovely and clean, and Kay, Wendy, and the rest of the team are so friendly and experienced. I honestly could not recommend Wessex Swim School enough. I know it is slightly more expensive than other swim schools, but with the amount of progress he has made, only 3 children in a group, and the incredible team, it's worth every penny!
My kids have both swum with Wessex swim school and have progressed amazingly. The small groups ensure that the children are not left getting cold waiting for their turn and mean they get more swimming time and therefore progress faster! My first child swam with a few other schools before coming to Wessex and there’s no comparison. Thoroughly recommend Wessex Swim School

Both my daughters swim with Wessex Swim Club. They always look forward to their lessons. The groups are small-no more than 3 children per session, and they have fun whilst learning to swim. My eldest daughter (9), who didn't even like to get her face wet when she began swimming, is now a competent swimmer and my youngest (6) is improving week by week. Thank you Wessex Swim Club.
My 7 yr old son who has autism used to be absolutely terrified of the water, and would barely get in the pool. 5 months later, and he is loving his swimming lessons. He has a 1:1 lesson with his instructor, and is much more confident in the water. Would highly recommend Wessex swim school
My son has been going for a little while now and very much looks forward to going. The small class size is good and he seems to be progressing nicely.
