   Don’t bother buying from this place online (I’m sure they are great if there in person). Ordered a car seat 2 weeks ago, email said dispatch in 5-7 days. Heard nothing, called them multiple times (no answer), sent them multiple emails to ask about it (no answer to any of them either). Not sure why they bother offering online shopping to be honest. Had to order the seat from somewhere else and claim for a refund via my credit card company as they won’t respond to any contact so got no chance they will cancel/refund my order. Avoid them for online shopping UPDATE- finally got an email 3 weeks later saying that the item I ordered wasn’t in stock. Not sure why it took so long to tell me this- just waiting for the credit card company to refund me now

   In terms of the customer service in the actual shop, I cannot fault it, it was great. I did however follow up with a purchase on your online store over 2 weeks ago, and I haven’t received any email of dispatch, nor the car seat itself. I have tried emailing several times with no response, I have called and also left voicemails with no response. I now called again several times this morning and the phone number doesn’t appear to be working. The money has left my account over 2 weeks ago and the customer service since has been really bad, I would really like to be able to get an update on where the car seat is that I’ve purchased?

   I was recommended this place by two friends who are big on Extended Rear Facing car seats and it was a brilliant recommendation. We visited the showroom and had a super helpful demo from a really knowledgeable lady, who even put the car seat we were interested in into our car. Then later I had a long phone conversation with Jon who really listened to our requirements and gave incredibly solid advice. We ended up purchasing the Axkid One2 (no tethers, easy to move between cars) and love it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this shop - I just wish I'd found it sooner as we could have saved a fortune not buying the car seats we had prior!

   Jon is absolutely fantastic! I had heard really good things about the buggy barn and although it wasn’t particularly local to us when I found out we were having twins I thought it was worth the journey. He spent a full hour showing me all the different options of double buggies and gave some fantastic advice. We ended up with the Out n About Nipper which has been brilliant. 2 years on the break was sticking a bit so I messaged Jon and he very kindly saved me £60 and serviced the buggy - washing and oiling the break mechanism and it is now as good as new. Thank you so much Jon!

   We bought a few items from here during the pandemic. A changing table, and a travel system (pram, stroller, car seat). Really helped us find what we needed and also fitted the car seat for us. When we had a few problems later we went back and they adjusted the car seat base for us to make it easier to slot the seat in and out. Since our baby has grown out of the first car seat we bought the next one elsewhere in the sales but these guys were still happy to help make sure it is fitted in our car properly. Cannot recommend highly enough!

   I had excellent service from this small, independent buggy and car seat shop - from informative, informal advice in person when visiting the shop, and before and after via email, answering any questions I had about the models of buggy I was looking for. I had specific needs (offroad, suitable for taking the little one running), and was given lots of useful advice. Finally, the shop is priced very competitively against all other major retailers, meaning you have no excuse but to support local! :)

   Thanks to Jon and the team at Pushchairs and Car Seats. We went in on Saturday 12th November to look at a car seat upgrade as our son has outgrown his first seat. We took with us a car seat gifted to us by neighbours just to see if it was OK, and Jon inspected it and said its a great seat and aside a little clean is perfect for our needs. What gets me about the advice given to us was how honest he was, even if it meant he didn't get a sale. This actually happened when we went in for our first pushchair and they actually advised us that the pram we thought we wanted was not ideal for our situation and advised on a couple that would better suit us even though they cost less... its so refreshing to find people who are so professional and honest. Aside from that they do also have an extensive knowledge of the products they sell, and I also like supporting local businesses. Thanks again and keep up the great work!!

   It's not often you go to a shop and are immediately filled with confidence that you're in just the right place. Jon was incredibly helpful without being pushy and as a result we walked away with a double pram which has turned out to be a superb buy, I'm so glad we went to the showroom and not just bought online as it gave us an opportunity to see all options up close and even ensure it fitted in the boot of the car!

   I visited today with my husband and mum. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman. This is our first child so it was so reassuring to have everything explained to us. He gave us great recommendations based on our lifestyle and what travel system would suit us best. I was pleasantly surprised to find out the travel systems he recommended were some of the cheaper in the store! We were given lots of time to trial the prams in the store. We didn’t feel pressured in terms of time or purchasing on the spot. Great customer service and lots of choices to explore in the store. We were very impressed and will be returning to purchase when we are ready. Looking at the prices on the website they are in line with other online stores.

   Marvellous shop, will be going back here for all and any future related purchases and have recommended to all my friends. First visited in May and was shown around by a very accommodating and knowledgeable lady who took us through all the pros and cons that weren't obvious to us as new parents. We actually ended up buying two for the same price as John Lewis! Delivery went smoothly and we've loved both our prams/car seats. I had a query a few days ago and emailed, and they emailed straight back sorting the issue and I had next day delivery on an item right before Christmas, what amazing service. Thanks guys!
