We were a large party so we’re working off a pre-ordered (limited) menu but the food was good with just one missing meal. The drinks were lovely and I particularly enjoyed my dessert.
This is the best restaurant we've been to in Basingstoke! We wanted to go somewhere outside of town, and it was an equivalent to a fine dining at very reasonable prices. They have tons of parking. It's only 10 minutes outside of Basingstoke in a village side. The food was awesome, the place was great with a lot of history and was perfectly designed, and everyone was super nice from the beginning to the end. You HAVE to get the apple dessert. The staff, from the manager to the chefs, are top-notch! It's like dining in a Michelin restaurant, especially the manager – his passion shines through! They gave us free drinks, and when we said it was our anniversary, they even got us a cake!
Interesting menu which changes seasonally. Great service, polite and attentive but not overbearing. Good value for what is offered. Nice mix of families, friends, couples. We were planning our next visit as we left
We had the most incredible night at the Palm Brasserie tonight. We staff knew it was our anniversary and made such an effort to make it very special. The menu was vast, with lots of different options to cater for everyone. The food itself was absolutely delicious. Make sure to leave room for the deserts! The cocktails were fantastic too! However, the main part that stood out for us was the manager. We haven’t received service like this for a very, very long time. He made our anniversary and could not do enough for us. We are so pleased that we only live 10 minutes away as we will definitely be coming here again and again. The room for larger parties also looks great! Thank you so much again, I could not recommend it enough!
My first visit and wow. The restaurant was completely refurbished a few years back and they have done a wonderful job. The resaurant is bigger and far nicer than i ever expected. The food was first class with great service. I had the Sunday lunch. Kids meals were really nice and good value. Especially my sons very meaty burger. The menu has something for everyone and I would definately recommend a visit. Clasdy, great food and good menu.

The service is excellent here, very friendly even when dining with my 9 month old baby. The staff are attentive and helpful. The food choice was great and I really enjoyed the gnocchi and tiramisu. I've also had afternoon tea here before which I'd recommend
I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, I had the seared lamb rack. Others at the table also enjoyed their meals except one as he found a bone in his chicken burger. The service was good and they were very accommodating. They have an odd requirement, if you wish to take your leftovers home you must sign a waiver. I have never experienced this in all my years of dining out. They also offer a choice of vegetarian options.
