Dog had crutiate ligament operation on her left leg, had her right one repaired 18 months ago. Valley vets have done a fantastic job and all staff have been caring & professional. Couldn't wish for better.

Fantastic staff; the vets, nurses and receptionist. Really care about the animals, discuss all options and help you make any decisions. Have and will continue to recommend!

My not so favourable opinion in this review is directed primarily towards the reaction of a particular vet who works at this practice rather than the practice as a whole. I feel that her conduct was lacking in professionalism. I requested to know if specialist care could be administered for my pet and this vet affirmed that it could be and was initially very forthcoming in discussing it. However after I asked questions in order to be better informed and reassured about the care that would be offered, which any owner would do, she changed her tune at the last minute and I was obliged to urgently seek help elsewhere causing me added worry and stress. I do not think she behaved very well over this matter which accounts for my low rating. Having said this I am glad that I went elsewhere because I do not think this practice is appropriate for anything other than routine, basic care.

The veterinary surgery to me. The staff are fantastic and so friendly. They are so helpful. The vets are amazing and I have been with this surgery for a long time . I feel relaxed when my pet goes there. I trust them 100%. I would recommend this surgery to everyone.

Both myself and my partner agree that the vets are not very friendly. Considering the high costs, it would be nice if they practiced some basic manners when asking for help with the pet when brought in. They also do not explain costs with an itemised breakdown.

Very sadly had to have my beloved westie put to sleep, he would have been 17 next month. The lady vet was extremely sympathetic and though a very hard decision made the experience less traumatic, he was suffering. Always used this veterinary clinic.

My dog was spayed there. Terrible experience. I had to change vets for her to be treated. I went to the surgery several times but I was told it was normal. It took my dog three months to recover and she had to take antibiotics and anti-inflamatories for 1 month. When I showed the scar of the operation to other vets they were shocked about how big it was. My dog used to pee when going to this vet. What a terrible experience for her!

Noticed a change in service. Low and behold yet another private practice sold to CVS Ltd overseas equity group you are buying up vet practices all over Europe. Over 500 in the UK + the biggest online pets store Petdrugsonline.CVS other groups are controlling prices. Taking your pet to a CVS vet is like visiting a lawyer. You get billed for every second.

They don't care about your pet, they only care about the money. I have a kitten that was on a health plan with them, as I've chosen this practice due to great reviews and proximity, and in the two months we've been with them, wasn't microchipped, was not advised on what to expect with a new pet, like a welcoming pack with a general guideline information, they've rescheduled appointments, they were always on the run on appointments, always seeming overrun and understaffed. Steve is the only one that seems to care about pets and a few nurses, whilst the rest act like they don't want to be there, hence the two stars in my review, otherwise it would have been zero. My kitten had an almost accident (we've taken him there as a prevention, as he might or might have not ingested lily pollen), and of course we weren't insured, so they've overcharged, adding all the nuts and bolts, just like a car mechanic bill. Some of the charges nobody knew, in the first instance, what they were for, and then, when complained, I was offered an explanation. And the kitten was traumatised, as he was accused of being feisty, the same kitten that sat by his own will through vaccines, and doesn't fear vets. We were lucky that the kitten hadn't ingested the lily pollen, otherwise, under these peoples care, I am not sure he would have pulled through. I don't recommend them, as they only care about the money. Their health plan offers nothing comparative with other health plans at other vets practices. And it's more expensive. Paid whatever I had left to pay from the health plan and asked for a zero balance bill, as I had an invoice for the first vaccination course issued by mistake, so make sure you keep a good accounting on your bills with them. Chosen this vet as it seemed to be a local business, not a soulless corporation, that only cares about profits, but they've proven me wrong. Moved over to a chain corporation vet practices and they are more human, and more caring than these.

Got same day appointments on both occasions that my little dwarf hamster was unwell. The staff treated and handled him very gently, and got back to me quickly when I called up for advice regarding his medication. They clearly care very much about their patients, no matter how great or small. Cannot recommend enough!
