   I am completely losing confidence in the managements ability to run this store. Less than two weeks ago one of the staff at the counter was abusive.(Tash) I did make a complaint, but nothing was done about it. Today I went to do my normal weekly shop average spend around £130 to find there is no bags, But instead of running a concession on the premium bags which cost a pound the management decide to charge the full amount. This is not the public’s fault. This is simply a mismanagement of the logistics in ordering the bags so people can do that weekly / monthly shop. There seems to be no foresight in asking surrounding stores to help with this and supply bags, but the management have decided to put the full cost of this problem (which they have created )back to the customer. Absolutely abysmal and appalling. If the senior Leadership Team at head office Take any interest in this they should seriously look at the management of the Tesco store In Abingdon. I will still shop at Tesco’s, but I find myself travelling to either Didcot or Cowley. Be very interesting what response the Tesco’s management team come up with to this Review

   Tesco Extra in Abingdon carries a wide range of familiar items and a reasonable stock of ethnically diverse items. Food prices are cheaper than Waitrose and Marks, more expensive than Lidl or Aldi, and approximately equal to Sainsbury's and Asda. A clean store, with well-stocked shelves, wide aisles and friendly staff, it is a pleasant place to shop.

   I've shopped here for years and find the staff superb. I generally do my shop when the store opens at 06:00 and over the last couple of years have noticed that there are several staff members always on shift at the self scan checkout who are amazing. Today the self scan was not working upon arrival so I decided to do a smaller shop. Half way round one of the lovely checkout ladies found me to let me know the system was up and running. Excellent customer service and I ended up doing my full weekly shop rather than a few essentials. These members of staff make my morning when we chat at the tills and are a superb asset to the Abingdon Tesco team.

   Went in this morning and the staffs around the shop floor were Abingdon's finest...every time they spoke to each other, the first word rhymes with DUCK! Duck this! Duck that! Where the Duck is this? Said one... all females too. They think they are still at home. They are quite vocal too... need to turn down the volume and stop swearing. Blaming the managers.

   Unscheduled stop for breakfast. Glad we did. Really nice Cafe. Super fast service. Really nice food with a few fancy choices. Very clean and tidy. Employee with dark hair and glasses didn't stop - cleaning surfaces, bringing out food, cleaning away tables. Really well done.

   This shop is always good and I've never had complaints to be honest, its just really annoying that they decide to throw 80% of their staff on the shop floor, wielding massive stock carts and marching down aisles making it feel like an active warzone. Gotta be on your feet and prepared to dodge if you want to make it out with your ankles in-tact

   Horrible, rude and racist store manager. The guy has no respect whatsoever. Also, just FYI, the bakery staff do not wash their hands. I was there, I used to work there, I have seen. Ever since that moment, I have stopped to buy bread and just in general, I stopped coming to tesco.

   I guess Tesco doesn't teach their drivers what the right of way is when they are driving. So close to being hit by one of their drivers. Honestly, that was unbelievable. I am sure they have some screening process in place to avoid these kinds of drivers don't they?

   This is the best Tesco I've ever stumbled on. It's massive and the cafe is really nice. We were driving on the A34 and needed to make an emergency unplanned stop to feed our daughter. The service here was so good and the prices obviously so much better than normal roadside services, that it's made us plan to stop here on future journeys

   On Sunday the 31/07/22 I went down to this store to pick up a few things for the week and noticed a pricing issue on the Heinz tomato sauce. I always look at the price per 100g before deciding which size product I purchase, and immediately saw an issue. the 910g per 100g price was 34.7p, correct, however, the 700g bottle was marked at 30.7p per 100g. I quickly used my phone to get the accurate price, and was actually 39.9p per 100g, making it quite a bit more expensive that the bigger bottle. I looked for an assistant to query the pricing, and when I mentioned it, she literally bolted from me, making me think that this is something that possibly happens quite often. after paying for all my groceries, I proceeded to the customer service counter and asked for the store manager, and the only available person was the day manager. I explained the who story, and he said sorry and would look into it. I thought that this was quite weird, as I expected for him to take my number and give me proper feedback, so I became suspicious. Today, Thursday 4th August I went back to check, and it was still the same, so my efforts meant absolutely nothing, and all this was, was false advertising and trickery to buy the more expensive product, which is cheating and fraud. I do not trust this store any more, and only because of their actions. I gave them the opportunity to correct the issue, and nothing was done, confirming that it was just trickery. Well, goodbye Tesco, Aldi will be finished soon, and you will never see me again.
