Delightful meal at this quirky restaurant dug into a cave! Due to its location, it was a little on the cold side (the cave apparently stays around 0 degrees all year around!) but the incredible food made up for the chill. We had a mixed seafood platter, which was greatly improved since our last visit last year. It was good then. It was divine now! We also had a special starter which sounded funny (skank fish!) But was an incredible fish stew with fresh foccacia We both had the mixed seafood grill as a main. It was SO big, I struggled to finish it. We are so lucky to have such an incredible seafood restaurant in our area (which is so far from the sea!!) And finding out that all the ingredients are sustainability sourced and carefully picked from selected sustainable suppliers makes it all the better.

The welcome we got was superb the specials were explained very clearly. The food was excellent and presented very well. We will definitely be back even though they are an hour and a half away from our house. Oh and they are most definitely OPEN

Superb seafood. Tasty and clearly fresh. Cooked and plated in view of you. Get the mixed fish grill, 4 pieces of the days fish. Would be great if they were able to seat people in the cave, but health and safety may not approve. The owner is obviously into her sea food and chooses only the best. This may affect the menu, but that will be great.

Really pleasant atmosphere, with delicious seafood. Hadn't booked popped in just to see if we could be seated. Experienced lovely fresh food. Shame the outdoor bit at the back isn't utilised for drinks seating, etc, as it's got a magical feel.

First visit after reading lots of positive reviews. Had a great experience this evening sat at the chefs table and watching all the wonderful food being prepared. The food was top quality throughout. Everything was well cooked and presented. The service was good and all the staff were pleasant and polite. We usually have typical pub grub which we enjoy, but it was nice to have something a bit special, it does cost a bit more but it’s a unique place around these parts so definitely worth the occasion once in a while. A lot of work and detail goes into each dish and all the different elements and flavours go towards a very enjoyable eating experience. Would definitely recommend.

I booked a table here for my girlfriends birthday and the food was very good and scratched a seafood itch that I'd had for a good couple of months. I had the platter to start followed by 2 items off the specials board which we shared. If you are on the fence as to whether or not to try this place out then just go for it and book a table! If you like seafood you won't be disappointed.

Had an excellent experience here this evening. Firstly the setting is excellent with the restaurant backing onto the cave walls. These were lit with some green lighting which provided a unique atmosphere. The restaurant itself is quite small with only about 8 tables in total, so you need to book quite a way in advance if you want a Friday or Saturday evening. The kitchen is completely open so you can see the chefs preparing all the food. The food was beautiful with a mix of fresh seafood and grilled meat such as steak and chicken. The staff were very friendly, with the chef coming out of hhe kitchen several times and talking to the customers. A place I would definitely recommend to anyone with a love of fish and seafood.

Probably the best fish and chips i ever had, make sure you book a table as they are super busy! (No wonder with such amazing service). The chef came to the table and offered us smoked salmon to try it was so tasty! I order haddock with chips and it came so beautiful cooked. I recommend this place!

Absolutely gorgeous food, felt like I was eating a michelin star meal. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing, I definitely recommend the surf and turf and sticky toffee pudding. The chef was a lovely guy and made us feel very welcome, will definitely be returning :)
