This hotel had some very mixed reviews - but we still booked this for the last night of our Scotland vacation as location is very close to Aberdeen Airport and they do offer family rooms which is convenient when 2 adults and 1 child - and at a very competitive rate including breakfast. Really pleasantly surprised, nice spacious room for being in UK, good service and very clean. Yes the rooms are dated but still nice. Nice new TV too and working fridge. Nice bar and restaurant area with an OK dinner menu, nothing fancy at all - but good comfort food I'd say like what I would expect for an airport hotel. Order a side salad if you want salad to go with your meal. Very nice service and friendly staff. The building itself is nice and I like you can see it has quite a number of years behind it, but still a luxurious touch. I would definitely stay again if in need of a hotel close to Aberdeen Airport.

Clean room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Bath as well as shower which is increasingly rare in hotels of this kind. Ideally located if you need to be near Aberdeen airport or the P&J Arena. Good parking at modest additional cost. Good value overall. Hotel overall needs an update and refresh. No lift so not ideal for those with special access requirements, with young children or with a lot of luggage.

Stayed here for three nights. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the guest supplies were replenished daily. The hotel itself is quite old and should be renowated. For example, the balcony doors would not lock. The staff was helpful. I found the restaurant menu to be poor so I dined somewhere else.

Stunning stay at this hotel. Staff went out of their way to make us, family of 6, feel very welcome. Our highlight was the breakfast restaurant supervisor engaging with our 3.5 yr old and giving him chocolate bars, it's about knowing your customer right? Waiting staff at dinner the night before were also excellent. A great experience and ideal location to the airport.

This hotel is ideal for 1 night stay Especially if you are going to an event Very noisy due to airport and you hear everything through the walls Beds are comfy but again you need to be a heavy sleeper to get a decent sleep The pool was closed for our full stay so disappointing and the check in staff were fairly rude as though they couldn't be bothered with us

The walls are thin theres no restaurant in the facility. Pub was ok but only unbranded gin was available. I could hardly sleep as a baby cried all night.. very disappointing stay. At least bรกr staff were nice and helpful and breakfast was nice.

Last minute decision to stay over, wished we had gone somewhere else. Room was a good size, but walls seem paper thin and our room was right next to public toilets. Hand dryer must have been on the same wall as our headboard. TV didn't stay on for more than about 3 minutes. Went to get some dinner, waste of time as they don't seem to have a restaurant. They had a bar menu which was poor to say the least. Thankfully there's a decent Indian down the road. Got back to find the room next door had their TV on up high so getting some sleep was not simple. Breakfast was decent though. No idea how Marriott still have their name above the door.

First time I have been back to this hotel for years. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Rooms reasonably spacious. Beds comfortable. Breakfasts great. Typical hotel prices for food and drink. Was disappointed with some changes since my last visit; the parking is now horrendous as the hotel has contracted with some oil companies and there are no spaces due to offshore oil worker cars. The leisure facilities were still closed when elsewhere things have long opened up after Covid. And while there are tea and coffee facilities in the rooms we had to ask for milk both nights. Pretty poor but easily rectifiable. Not sure I would go back again now due to the parking difficulties. Such a pity after so many great memories from the past.
