I stayed here as part of a German travel group. The room assigned to me and my partner was very comfortable and had a spacious bathroom. Everything was cleaned daily and we were provided with new towels (why though was the second set of towels always placed in the cupboard?). The mattress and the pillows were wonderfully firm and we slept very good during our stay. The bathroom was well lit but the hotel room was a bit 'dark', it need more light. Our dinner was served in a 3-course meal we were very pleased with. The service staff ran a tight and punctual ship which we and the group appreciated very much. All meals were delicious. Getting drinks at the bar was a bit challenging, since it was usually just one member of staff there and other guests as well. For a group of over 40 people that took up too much time. Breakfast was the highlight of my day. A decent coffee machine, a wide variety of breakfast items, savory and sweet. Just wonderful! We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and will consider it in the future for a city trip.

Normally have a pleasant stay. Again 7 sockets at the table none at the bedside. Why. Mattress awful compared to last visit. So uncomfortable. poor sleep if any After late night had a shower wasn't great pressure during the day. 1am shower controller came off in my had now being scalded water everywhere , now standing in cold water took me and my husband to get the controller back on. Shower would not go off Staff quick to help but didnt know what to do. My husband had to instruct how to turn the water off. Offered another room, now later we wanted our bed. My husband is disabled. So yes our choice. So no toilet or water facilities overnight. Mentioned to the manager on Sunday yes they had a room for us if needed. I asked for water so we could brush our teeth and go. TBH she did not seem the least bit interested . We have used this hotel several times may need to look elsewhere. Shame.

The hotel is in a convenient central location, with Union Square, restaurants, and food options all close by. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and I appreciated the spacious rooms and bathrooms. There are, however, some areas for improvement. Parking is not available on-site, and the nearby car park costs around £13 per day. The hallways and the restaurant in the park had an unpleasant odor, which affected the atmosphere. Unfortunately, my mattress had a noticeable dent, making it uncomfortable to sleep on. Breakfast was also quite basic. The croissants and other bakery items were soft and lacked the crispness and freshness you would normally expect. Overall, while the location and staff were definite highlights, issues with comfort, breakfast quality, and facilities made my stay less enjoyable than I had hoped.

Large spacious bedroom and bathroom. comfy bed, slept like a baby, climate control is perfect and the service is excellent.. and the power shower blew me away...(no.more cobwebs) didn't get the breakfast . wish i had on veiwing what's on offer... when i woke next morning to make a coffee...to my disappointment the small kettle was not working... went to see desk manager not to complain but just say... She promptly went and brought me a cup on checkout.. Cheeky me had a second free cup... Slightly expensive..but for the comfort would definitely go back...

I could say only good things about this hotel. Superb location, just around the corner there's Union Street, but because the hotel is situated in the lane and off the main road, the atmosphere here is peaceful and quiet. Modern building with an interesting and colourful interior; clean, comfortable and cosy. Our room was not big enough, but with a panoramic view of the city, which was definitely a bonus. All the amenities were available: kettle, coffee machine with the coffee and tea plus a complimentary couple of bottles of spring water. Very thoughtful, indeed. All the facilities at the bathroom were clean and in a perfect working order; high quality toiletries- at hand, even bathmat in the shower cubicle was the additional thoughtful touch. Bath robe was available too. That was nice! Full English breakfast as well as continental one was on offer for breakfast. We asked for the bowls of home made porridge, that was tasty. Thank you for the friendly atmosphere and helpful staff, especially housekeepers. Oh, forgotten to mention the bed, very comfortable indeed. Brilliant stay for us! Highly recommend the hotel.

I've staid here for 3 days. The rooms are fine (clean, bed is big, no mini bar, only coffee and tea), but the heating was not really working. Front desk is not always friendly. I've asked for an adapter they asked for 20 pounds deposit and in the end it was not working. Taxes need long time get there. They are saying 10 min but in reality it's 20 min or more. The breakfast is okay for UK, but if compare with other hotel in Europe is very low. Also the cook is leaving 9:30. So if want to order some food and pay for that you can't. Most probably will try another hotel next time.

Arrived at the hotel, slightly early Thursday. Smiling faces in the reception. As I was early, they kept my luggage, while I looked at the city waiting for the room. When I got back, I checked in. Very little information provided so I assumed there was information in the room containing the likes of WiFi, gym location, things to see, possibility of room service, transport recommendations and more. Looked all over the room and checked television without success. Needed to ask reception when leaving the room. After returning home I received information that I apparently should have been informed that I had 10-15% food and beverage discount in the hotel bars/restaurants. First thing I noticed when entering the large room was a nice view of the city. Lots of windows and very quiet room was nice. Bed had a stain on the bed linen. The linen looked like it was clean otherwise, so likely blood stain or something similar. The bathroom was large but overdue of some maintenance. Mould inside and outside of the shower. Stains under the toilet. Did see one bug on the wall outside of the bathroom, hopefully it was only this one. One of the bulbs in the roof light started blinking after being on 1 min. Saturday, we went for a nice city walk just after early breakfast. Back at the room at approx. 4.30pm for relaxing before going out for dinner. Room had not been cleaned. Had to go down to the reception, ask if there was no housekeeping this day. Should have been cleaned, so we went out again while the room was cleaned. Breakfast was ok. Not a lot to choose from, but something for all. The hotel looked clean and maintained in the reception area. Always fresh apples at the desk. Checkout was easy. 15 min walk to the bus that takes you to the airport.

Not bad but certainly not good either. Very plain might be the best word to describe. Check in staff were friendly enough and very accommodating but that's the last of any praise. The room was fairly basic for £150 a night. And if any of the other hotels in Aberdeen had been available I probably wouldn't have booked for here. But it is bed at the end of the day which I managed to get a decent nights sleep in.

The hotel is modern so lacks character, that said, the room was comfortable and clean, fifth floor had good views over the rooftops to the harbour. The staff were attentive and the breakfast buffet was excellent, the staff here really worked hard to ensure all the foods were replenished as soon as they were getting low. NB there is no evening restaurant, Aberdeen is blessed with a variety of very good restaurants in close proximity to the hotel which has a fairly central location.
