   Can't get lower than one star. Can't rate the food as we never got any. Waited an hour after ordering but eventually had to leave as we had a hungry child, had tickets for an event and had thought two hours would be plenty time.

   Had a great visit to the Newmachar Hotel — warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and good food all round. The Sunday carvery was the highlight: generous portions, tender meats, and plenty of choice. Special mention to Fraser on the carvery, who was brilliant — friendly, efficient, and made sure everyone was well looked after.

   Came today for a late lunch, completely forgetting its fathers day and they managed to squeeze us in amongst the bookings. Staff were really lovely and you could tell they were swept off their feet but it didn't change how you were treated. Everyone was really nice and attentive and very friendly. Food was amazing, burnt my tongue which is my own fault but I couldn't help it as it was all so delicious! Obviously food came out piping hot, and cooked to perfection. Thoroughly reccomend!

   We really enjoyed our food here. The burger was delicious and the kids portions and quality very good. Only mark off for service because the waitress forgot my post lunch coffee but we decided not to hang around and wait for it anyway. Certainly wouldn't put me off coming back as the menu is varied and is of good quality.

   Nice place. Very easy to find and get parked. Larger inside than it looks from outside. Sunday carvery was exceptional. They also allow (well behaved) dogs in the conservatory area.

   Booth at the restaurant wad a bit tight, but the food and service absolutely on point. Would recommend if you haven't been here in a while, get your butt down there and sample the menu.
