   Had a very tough time with them, both throughout the year and when trying to end our tenancy. Firstly, we had a multitude of issues with the flat. Boiler wasn’t working, doors weren’t secure and issues with the drycleaner were all present when we moved in. We were told to contact letts and co and they would send to fix it. Not only did it take a lot of nagging for them to send someone along for every single issue, but in one instance there was a timing error in which we were told the wrong time for the arrival of the repair man and subsequently missed him. While we are unsure whether this was a communication error on the company’s part or letts and co, we received a very unhelpful and scathing email from a woman named Kayla which left a very poor taste in our mouths. When it came time to move out, after a full day of top to bottom cleaning, we had left the flat in a better condition than we found it. The final check, done by a third party company said as much in their final review as well. However, the landlord tried to claim the entire deposit back, citing damages and redecorations were needed. What shocked us, is that letts and co AGREED with the landlord, and we were subsequently forced to gather evidence. A month later we received the deposit back, unsurprisingly, as the third party company which held our deposit agreed that the landlord had provided insufficient evidence. This whole situation, and the way letts and co have treated us throughout the tenancy gave us the impression that they had a bad attitude towards us, possibly due to the fact we were students, and it feels like they saw us as a low priority that could be taken advantage of. Not good.

   Always reliable and professional. In the years I have had dealing with Letts & Co, I have always had swift replies and have come to rely on them for support in maintaining and managing the properties in our multi occupied building. You can rely on Letts to give direct and impartial advice….even when the advice is not to their advantage. They are also very fair and honest and excel in property management including having excellent connections with reliable services/contractors. Given my experience I would have no hesitation in recommending Letts & Co.

   As a Landlord I can confirm that Letts & Co offer an extremely professional service. At the time they took over my flat it had been damaged by the previous tenants and my previous agents were not very helpful in having the flat brought back up to standard. Letts & Co were terrific in having the works carried out in a professional manner and at a reasonable price. I should also mention that they managed to secure a rental figure higher than the rental figures estimated by my previous agent.

   Very poor staff communication, they are still calling me to speak to someone I have never met and staff is so rude telling me WHO I AM and why am I hiding it. I kindly asked them to fix the problem and remove my phone number from their database but they keep disturbing and HARASSING me arguing that they have this phone number on an official document of some Giusseppe guy. Reported to the police as they did not want to delete the phone number from the database that I own for more than 3 years as I requested.

   AMAZING!!! From my first viewing of a different property to then be told of another suitable property which better matched my requirements, which I have now taken, the whole process has been smooth sailing. Sonia has been an absolute star with arranging viewings and sorting things in the flat to make it the best it can be ready for me moving in. I couldn't have asked for a better letting agent and looking forward to calling my new flat my home! Hands down this has been the best and easiest lettings process I have experienced and the first time I've been made to feel like a person rather than just income. If I could rate them higher than 5 stars, I would! Thank you!

   AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Moved into my flat under the facade of it looking clean and modern, only to have wasps coming in through my closed window as there was a hole in the window seal. The agency refused to seal the window and told me to wait till winter for the wasps to naturally die out. They also berated my phobia of wasps and directly told me that I was being dramatic.They don’t care about their tenants and are very rude in communication. They make it seem like they’re doing you a favour by giving you a house even though you pay rent. Unpleasant bunch of people. Make sure to double check their houses.
