Impressive facility but I’m even more impressed with the customer service. Yusuf was very helpful and personable without compromising on his professionalism.

Good facilities. I play badminton regularly here. The courts used to be well lit. However, the curtain rails installed were not done properly which blocks the light to the courts. Except court number one all other courts have shadows of that rail, reducing the light. Court 3 is the worst affected. Some times the staff could be difficult in letting players in to the facility.

I only attended the gym briefly today as I normally train at Places Leisure Camberley or Wokingham Leisure Centre that are both part of the same group. My training partner and I planned to work legs but had to turn around and travel to Wokingham as the Bulmershe gym was totally inadequate with regard to available equipment. The gym itself is very small, possibly half the floor area of both Camberley and Wokingham ,with possibly half the equipment of Camberley and a third of Wokingham, which is the best equipped of the three. Thus, my training partner and I were very disappointed and will not br visiting Bulmershe again unless they do a major extension and refit. My home gym is Camberley, and they are doing a major equipment upgrade and refit during July. This will make Camberley the best gym of all the Places Leisure gyms within a 20-mile radius of my home in Sandhurst. So, shame on you, Bulmershe, and I feel sorry for the people of Woodley and district who have been let down by the poor planning and design and consideration of your local leisure centre. I expected more from the Places group, and I do hope that they fix this in the near future!

I recently finished 12 PT sessions with George. If you're new to the gym or are wanting support in general I would definitely recommend him. He's very friendly and professional. I now feel so much more confident in the gym, thank you!

Don't have to be a member to use facility. Can pay on access for the pool. Great locker and change rooms. Big and small family pool. Kids had great fun and met different families for social. Lovely place.

Swimming pool and changing rooms are spotless. Would be nice if the cafe served things like sandwiches etc overall a nice experience though.

Lovely pool, with a small three foot pool for beginners but deep enough for adults to swim too which is lovely and warm! You need to take a padlock for your locker, and at family fun sessions they do not provide any toys etc you need to take your own.

Professional staff, polite and helpful. Has a fantastic gym facility and a secondary gym for rehabilitation therapy, sports hall for actives and 2 swimming pools, a main pool, and a shallow 92cm or 62cm training pool.

Definitely not another commercial gym. Great facilities, very clean and the staff is very friendly. Had the pleasure to work with George Putland for a few personal training session. He’s very professional and understanding. I came back to the gym from a year long break after injuring my back during a marathon accident. Would highly recommend working with him even if you’re not a beginner.
