This is a gorgeous spot. It seems to be miles of streams,trees,and trails.Greay place to walk your dog and there is a dog friendly cafe.
I take the dogs here for a walk along the river and around the lake there. Lovely countryside and the dogs can have a swim. There are cows there sometimes so be aware.
Very nice nature reserve, Shepherds Meadow comprises a largely flat fairly open river Meadows with the Blackwater River running through it. At the western end is a small lake with a variety of ducks, geese and other wild fowl. The path is concreted but can get muddy in some parts. Good for dog walking. Decent free car park.

Lovely walk along the river beautiful scenery only marred by the few selfish dog owners that feel they are not obligated to pick up their own dog's mess.
