I had excellent service at the number 7 makeup department. Mandy the beautician was very helpful showed me different products.Plus tested the foundations and creams on my skin.Then helped me join Boots membership card.Very pleased.
Spoke with Debbie and Vikki on different occasions who were very helpful in getting a harsh parking charge waived. Thanks to both of them for going out of their way to get this sorted
I’ve always liked this store as my local Boots — the younger staff have always been helpful and polite. However, I was extremely disappointed with my experience today. Right by the entrance there was a huge puddle of water from a leaking ceiling, which I slipped on and pulled my back. I alerted a blonde, older member of staff who couldn’t have cared less. I received barely an apology, no concern for whether I was okay, and no attempt to clean up the water or even put down a wet floor sign to prevent anyone else from slipping. It’s basic human decency to check on someone after they’ve hurt themselves, but instead she ignored me and went back to chatting. The store itself was also very dirty, which doesn’t help with safety concerns. I’m honestly shocked by the lack of care and responsibility shown today — both towards me and towards other customers who could easily get injured.
The staff get spoken to so poorly, some managers at least have the decency to do it in private but management here clearly doesn’t care about shouting at and embarrassing their staff and making them look bad in front of customers. Will not be returning to this boots! How unprofessional and upsetting!!!
Took something back to this store that I was pressured into buying from another store . Staff member or manager Diane was absolutely rude and patronising. If staff was trained better mistakes and understanding would be handled better . Tomorrow I will be logging my complaint to customer service about both stores as your mistakes should not let customers take blame for them . Items paid for with cash have been put on a gift card and the items was bought that same day
I ordered something online . Never had notification that it had arrived to store so called. They managed to locate my parcel I had to provide photo id and know what was inside. No problem. That is until they scan it and it's their fault as it hadn't been scanned in correctly. Although upsetting and frustrating I am aware that these things happen and they were just making sure that it was me getting what I paid for. So all in all good but could if been avoided. .
Visited for a couple of items and had a good look at all the xmas gifts. Good atmosphere ,nicely laid out. Staff were really helpful and friendly. And the tills were manned so I didn't have to use self service. What a refreshing change. I will be back there
Very understaffed. Even on a good day there maybe only three staff in the whole store. There's no self checkout so at busy times, especially lunchtime, you could be in a queue of 10 to 15 people becauseof only one cashier on the till. Boots you can give better service than this!
We only went in to see if we could find any Christmas presents for our boys. Mandy who works at the wyvern boots made our youngest boy feel so special. So kind, thoughtful and entertaining. He loved his experience with testing the mens parfums. He smelt like a gentleman and loved every minute of it! Mandy, keep up the good work and never stop being you! Exceptional customer service! Well done!
Staff when you could find them were friendly but no luck sorting out photo printing. Lots of potential customers gave up as couldn't get to work . Lots of empty shelves that I asked if it was closing down but they said no it was getting Christmas stock in . Disappointing shop
