   We have just registered here and I have used the vet a couple of times for our elderly ridgeback, Efia. Impressed so far…staff are knowledgeable, the practice is clean with great parking and I don’t feel pressured at all by any of the staff.

   Arrived at the vets at lunchtime (technically closed) to walk in and say we have no appointment, but could you have a look at our dog (had trapped its foot in the door). A vet was there and said, I will have a look for you, I have a slot ....... The dog had an anti-inflammatory jab, was deemed fine ..... then got charged over £100 for an emergency call out ???, plus the cost of the jab (obviously). This is our regular vet, we have various pets, so have always attended this practice, but sadly, it's lost its homely caring touch due to corporatisation !! Today, Glenthorne Uttoxeter lost a regular, important customer .... good on you !

   Brilliant care and consistently great service! We’ve never had a bad experience here. We take our bunnies to this practice and are always welcomed with a smile. Booking appointments is easy and never a hassle. Yes, it’s a bit on the pricier side, but you truly get what you pay for – the care and professionalism are worth it. Special thanks to Kingsley, who is always fantastic with our rabbits (Phoebe and Joey) and clearly cares about their wellbeing. Highly recommend!

   My dogs are with Uttoxeter and my MiL’s dog is with Tutbury and both sites are amazing. Although it’s a half an hour drive for me I wouldn’t go with any other vet in the area. The reception staff, nurses and vets are all always so lovely; you can tell they love their jobs! Our most recent visit ended with my French Bulldog having a cut pad after having his nail cut (which is common, especially because he’s a wriggler and hates getting his nails cut), it wouldn’t stop bleeding and you could see their concern. They bandaged it up, answered all our questions and seen us the next day to make sure it was healing properly. Cannot fault a single thing from any of our visits. 100% recommend Glenthorne Vets!

   Glenthorne is the perfect place for our dog who doesn't like the vets! There is ample parking at the rear, with a large grassy area where she can de-stress before and after her appointment. The reception area has well spaced chairs so that she doesn't have to wait close to other animals. The vets will examine her on the floor where possible which is much appreciated, and keep her appointments as short as they can. Highly recommended.
