First time using this place and it was a nice and easy process. Had to add a couple of days extra which was no problem for them. Really appreciated the updates of my cat as she was a little stressed when we left her. Thank you.
Booked 3 months ago. Then got sent an email requesting £50 deposit. Paid straight away and the money came out my account. Go to drop off the cats today and they said they never booked them in. Had no communication saying they were full and never received a refund. Shocking customer service and now we have no where to drop the cats before our holiday. Didn’t receive an apology as apparently it’s our fault for not chasing them up after taking our money. Thank you Brankley
We have taken our cats here twice a year for the best part of the last 10 years. Each of our two cats has their own twice-daily medication, which has always been administered by their staff on previous stays and is part of the service they offer. Unfortunately, on collecting our cats following a recent two-week stay at Brankley, it was apparent that one cat had barely been given any of his medication at all, on account of there remaining virtually all of his pills still in the blister pack in the box (we'd specifically counted out the exct amount required for the two weeks beforehand). His medication is to prevent him becoming hyperthyroid and, as a result of not receiving it for 2 weeks, he had lost a significant amount of weight. We had left very clear written instructions regarding administering their medications and had clearly labelled the drug boxes. When I had to return several days later to collect one of our cat beds (which was not handed over on collection of the cats) I did raise the matter again with an employee (having already done so on the telephone the day after they were collected). She tried her best to be helpful and apologised, but explained management were still looking in to this and to expect a call from the owner. Two weeks on from picking up our cats and we have still recieved no contact from Brankley. We have an unwell cat that we are still trying to nurse back to health and are extremely disappointed with Brankley Cattery. We shall not be taking our cats there again.
A beautiful cattery,with great climbing trees abs hammocks for fur babies. Friendly and very caring team that run it. I highly recommend this 5* accommodation.
Would not take our cats anywhere else. The team here are fantastic, so attentive and truly have the cats best interest at heart. When you walk in, there's no smell, so you can tell its very clean. They have a heated room in each enclosure for your cat to keep warm in if needed for those winter months. Plus they post Facebook updates and pics regularly so you can see what your cat has been up to. Best cattery in the area.
Was greeted and shown round by Kate who was very welcoming and informative.We look forward to our two cats staying with them for a few days
Fantastic staff, nothing is ever too much trouble, pens are large and individually setup, each cat has there own large area. Pampered in the best way, the staff know each cat, there not just names on a board, they take the time to get to know them.
Brankley cattery is amazing. The actual cat pen is spacious, the tree with hammock is really cool and there is also a separate enclosed, heated space with a lovely bunk bed and feeding station. The cats also have nice views of a leafy space in the front and they can see free range peacocks and the occasional chicken. It was the first time we left our cat Murphy in this cattery and he actually didn't want to leave his lovely, heated space when we went to collect him. I can't believe we didn't know about Brankley Cattery before and we will definitely leave our cat there again. I would totally recommend it!
