A reliable spot for essentials and seasonal finds, though the shopping experience can feel a bit crowded. I recently visited this Poundland location and found it to be well-stocked for the holiday season. It’s a great one-stop shop for budget-friendly household items, health supplies, and seasonal decor. The Pros: • Excellent Variety: From a wide selection of Christmas decorations and gift bags to a comprehensive health and pharmacy section, they have almost everything you’d need for daily upkeep. • Strong Tech & Toy Sections: I was impressed by the organization of the electronics aisle (cables, chargers) and the toy section, which was full of branded items like Nerf and various dolls at great price points. • Clear Pricing: Most items are clearly marked with the signature "Amazing Value" signage, making it easy to stick to a budget. The Cons: • Store Navigation: The aisles are quite narrow, which makes it difficult to navigate with a stroller or during peak hours. Some aisles were partially blocked by stock cages, which felt a bit cluttered. • Organization: While most shelves were neat, some areas (like the medicine and homeware aisles) had unboxed stock sitting on the top shelves or floor, which can make the store feel a bit overwhelmed. Verdict: Overall, it is a very productive place to shop if you are looking for value. It’s perfect for picking up stocking fillers, cleaning supplies, or quick electronics. Just be prepared for a bit of a "squeeze" in the aisles!

I have been regular customer of this shop last five years . It’s always enjoyable to visit that place — not just for shopping, but also to browse through all their amazing one-pound items. They’ve got everything you could think of: clothes, food, tools, kitchenware, bathroom essentials, living room decor, and even garden supplies. You definitely won’t regret going there! I just hope they stay open late into the night.

I experienced blatant racial profiling at this Poundland. I was followed around the store watched closely and treated like a criminal for simply shopping because of the colour of my skin. A staff member shadowed me then checked my bag even though I had done absolutely nothing wrong. When I later received their response they admitted that CCTV footage showed me calmly browsing the washing bay area with my trolley in front of me. A colleague approached me and I placed an item back on the shelf and began to walk away. The colleague then spoke into their headset and followed me calling out. I stopped near the chillers and removed something from my ears showing I hadn’t heard them earlier. The footage clearly shows me cooperating by showing my handbag and shopping bag before leaving. Nothing about that is suspicious. That alone proves it was racial bias. I have seen white people steal in front of staff and they do nothing yet I was followed and checked for no reason. When I complained Sharon from customer service brushed it off with excuses and tried to deflect by mentioning diversity instead of addressing the issue. Not once did anyone say they would speak to the staff involved or ensure this does not happen again. Their so called investigation was just an empty PR line. No apology no accountability nothing but silence and deflection. I left humiliated for doing nothing wrong other than existing as a brown person. Until Poundland takes real accountability and stops protecting biased staff this will keep happening. I will never shop here again.

The people who are concerned about quality of clothing may find it "just ok" . Prices are low and the quality of food and other stuff is as in other shops.

Very neat store, was nice and quiet when I went 9.30am, friendly helpful staff, good stock levels and this Poundland has a small clothing clothing section. Nice to see they are also encouraging to keep wearing masks so felt very safe too.

A great store with great bargains but lacks number of staffs on the shop floor to help customers. The same story is on self checkouts - there’s no one in sight in case customer needs assistance! The product choice and variety is excellent and vast.
