   I was very sad to learn Poundland is closing the Chineham branch. The store was a good place for me to buy household and other products during lunch break. The staff are always very polite and helpful, especially Sylwia. The branch in Festival Place are very lucky to have her join the team in the New Year. Thank you.

   Normally its fine but today it sadly wasn't. Queue very long and only one till open. Just as I got to the front of the queue they decide to open 2 more - typical. Waited at the till for 15 minutes for them to find a code! Thought one woman had gone to look as the checkout operator had asked her but when I turn round 5 mins later she's on the till! Was just about to ask for a refund on the other items I'd bought when the code finally arrives!! Woman says 'don't know how they keep loosing it'...

   Great for biscuits, crisps and unhealthy snacks on the cheap. Also a brilliant source of DIY tools made of cheese and cheap electronic accessories that may or may not work as intended. You pay a pound for things, you take the gamble! But for the most part, can grab some solid bargains.
