Overall Iβve had a really good experience with this Boots, especially the pharmacy team. Nine times out of ten everything is smooth, and Iβve built a good rapport with a lot of the dispensers and pharmacists β usually itβs friendly, relaxed, and I leave feeling looked after. The only reason Iβve knocked a star off is that, every now and again, thereβs one tall male member of staff with brown hair (often in a white shirt) whose manner feels noticeably different with me compared to other customers. Iβve seen him interact perfectly fine β even pleasantly β with others, but when I come to the counter he canβt even crack a smile, or rarely looks me in the eye and comes across as very uninterested and short. Itβs not that heβs openly rude, but the contrast is hard to ignore and it makes me feel singled out. One example: my doctors are currently trying to get all my medication synchronised. I went to collect my prescription after being told by the pharmacist at my GP practice to pick it up on the 17th, and I came in on the 18th. When I asked to collect it, he sharply said, βWell, we only received it yesterday, so itβs going to be at least half an hour.β I understand delays happen β thatβs not the issue β but it isnβt my fault when the prescription was only received the day before, and Iβd have appreciated it being explained in a calmer, more neutral way. Iβm neurodivergent, and tone matters: when someone is abrupt or dismissive it can feel a lot more intense, especially when Iβm just trying to follow instructions from my GP and keep my medication on track. There are other examples. Iβm still giving 4 stars because most staff here are genuinely great and the pharmacy service is usually spot on. I just think a bit more warmth and consistency from that one staff member would make the experience reliably excellent. I would love to know what his issue is with me. I don't even know the guy. Keep up the good VP work, and remind some colleagues if their role is dealing with people - the approach needs to be tailored to each customer (as it is you guys providing the service). Working in Retail myself - I don't think I would be employed if Treated certain people with discontent

the place reeks, absolutely reeks, not everyone lies perfume, i hate it, and as soon as you enter you are assaulted with the stench of decaying flesh and flowers, pharmacy staff slow and i guess if you do not have a nose ring you cannot get hired there

Your team member Katrina is so friendly and so helpful. I came in nervously looking for a nice EDP for my boyfriends birthday and I was being so fussy and didn't like the scents and she was so patient with me and kept looking and listening to my preferences. We finally found the one! It's absolutely gorgeous and I will be back.

Refused contraceptive medication at the pharmacy even though I was aware of the fact it might not be as effective due to other factors. Explained to the pharmacist that I understood it might not be effective but I still wanted the medication and would be the one taking the risk and holding myself responsible for my own actions. He just said no, he wasnβt authorised and informed me I had to call 111 even though all 111 would be able to do was issue me the exact same medication that I was trying to purchase. Went to Tesco pharmacy down the road and saw their pharmacist, explained my situation to her and she issued the medication, talking me through the risks, but allowed me to freely make a decision. No one should have the right to decline you from receiving medication unless it could cause you harm. He spoke to me really awkwardly too, most likely because it was concerning a female issue.

Visited the Grand Junction Crewe Boots today and the customer service we received from Karolina was superb. She was so helpful and very friendly. She was manning the till area on her own, and there was not any other staff around, but she still took time to help us with an item that was not readily available on the shop floor. She checked stock, she sourced the item from the back storage and was just so pleasant and smiley. A real credit to Boots. Nothing was too much trouble, and she took an interest in our plans. What a refreshing change. Amazing customer service. Thank you Karolina.

Good size store. A great range of goods. Helpful and polite staff. Pharmacy was busy, but each customer given a notice of wait before script taken. I had 10mins, so added some 'window' shopping during my visit. Found photo machines which I would try out next time I need to print off any digital photos from my various devices. Great!
