   Been a regular customer at Ernest Jones (burton)for many a year purchasing rings and watches over the years any repairs watch servicing and nothing as been to much trouble . All the staff are very knowledgable in there field and give you full attention and assistance when choosing a piece of jewellery . And l can’t believe what l have heard today l just called in to the store for chat with Darrell(manager) to find out the shop is being closed l feel that doing this will cause a big void in quality watch and jewellery outlets in burton I’m sure that this is not needed after Derby being closed l thought burton would be safe and somewhere l could still do business with please rethink your model in your burton shop it’s a place for not only buying but sometimes for a chat and advice Brian Lees

   I believe I can say that I am a regular customer at Ernest Jones. I can still remember when it first opened it’s branch in Burton on Trent. I’ve purchased numerous items over the years and customer service has always been very good more so with Daryl and his team. Over the last few years, our purchases included jewellery items, a diamond ring, bracelets, necklace and earrings for our 25th wedding anniversary. Gucci, DKNY watches and a TAG Heuer Aquaracer for my good lady. For my son, a gift for graduating with a 1st M.Eng(Hons), a TAG Heuer Formula 1 Automatic. He recently purchased a Hamilton from the branch on our recommendation. For me a TAG Heuer Aquaracer and today an OMEGA Seamaster 300 in Seaweed Green. A watch that I’ve been wanting for quite some time. On every visit the staff have always been polite, friendly and courteous. They are all knowledgeable and always willing to help and have a informative conversation. They have a beautiful selection of jewellery items and watches to suit every pocket. Superb in my opinion. Now, the Burton branch is an official TAG Heuer retailer and unfortunately they don’t have OMEGA watches but this wasn’t a problem for the Burton team. Once the details were obtained via a telephone enquiry, Yaser (Apologies if I’m wrong) said that he would have one delivered from their Derby branch which is an OMEGA Retailer, to the Burton branch to view and purchase should I wish. Amazing! And true to his word one arrived within two days. This was then shown to me by Daryl. A stunning watch combined with above and beyond customer service, it would have been rude to leave the shop without it! Thank you Daryl and team, it’ll be difficult to go elsewhere because of you all. I would recommend Earnest Jones, Burton without any hesitation.

   Do not buy rings from any of their branches. Had horrible experience and requested the correct size ring upon return but instead waited a week to then get the same ring size and not the correct one. They then had the indecency to tell me in store they can not return my money as the ring was different size to the receipt I got. It was their mistake sending the same ring size yet they don't want to refund me. Scammers that are after your money and they don't care about their clients.

   Fantastic experience both online and In store, I ordered a bridal set online and didn’t quite get my sizing right, I went into my local store who arranged an exchange for the next size down with no issue at all even though it was my own mistake, the lady who helped me (Amy I believe) also answered my questions about their insurance and helped me choose the right policy and set it up for me. Even when I’ve popped in just to browse I have always found the store very welcoming and friendly.
