Brilliant small local business that’s been around for years. I came in to get a few links taken out of my watch and they sorted it straight away. Lovely, friendly people who really know what they’re doing - great to see long-standing local shops like this still going strong.
Impressed is an understatement. Its my 50th next month and decided to have a look at some jewellers in Burton. We stumbled upon Hiscox. The gentleman that we spoke to on Saturday, 20 April was amazing. I told him exactly what I was looking for (an Emerald (birth stone) ring). He was more than happy to talk me through the clarity, quality etc. He also confirmed my reasons for looking for pre-owned. Although I didn't purchase a ring in their pre-owned section, I would definitely recommend anyone looking for pre-owned or new to go, if only for advice. I will be in touch to see if they have had any new pre-own rings. The one thing that he said to me definitely stuck with me after that conversation was "a ring choses you", which I really like and I am happy to wait if need be.
I went into Ernest Jones today with my engagement ring as I believed the stone was moving. My husband originally bought it from there so I thought it was the best place to take it, they said £399 to fix it. I took the ring & went into Hiscox on the high street, the lady took one look at it & said yes its loose I can sort it for you & it will be ready for tomorrow, she wouldnt charge me for it despite asking her over & over again… what a wonderful small business! I am so so grateful to you both today & to anyone reading this please please get a second opinion if youve taken your jewellery to any well known jewellery store!! My partner and I came to Hiscox Jewellers to buy a pre-owned engagement ring. The staff were so lovely and helpful, and they had a lot of rings to choose from. After selecting the perfect ring, the wonderful staff had it re-sized within the hour! A wonderful experience, can't recommend enough!
Excellent service, friendly and professional. I took a platinum chain in for repair, and the jeweller explained my options and offered his advice. Quick service and a very fair price. Highly recommended, wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Took my nan's engagement ring in to be resized and the service was brilliant. They did it overnight (although had I been earlier in the day, may have been able to do it the same day) and it is now back on my finger.
