Bruce Nursery has been great for our two little ones. They make a real effort to go the extra mile and help them feel welcome and comfortable!
My three year old has attended Bruce Nursery since he was one and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. The team all know each child so well and are always so attentive to each child’s wants and needs. My son has always bonded so well with the key worker in each room which is down to the staff making him feel so comfortable and they know his wants, likes, dislikes etc extremely well. We’ve always had slightly challenging drop offs but the staff could not be more accommodating to him, I couldn’t recommend Bruce highly enough.
We are incredibly happy with Bruce Nursery and would highly recommend it. Both our children have attended since the age of one, and our experience has been very positive. Our daughter has flourished there—she’s a happy and confident 3 year old, independent, and social, with a great vocabulary and understanding of numbers. She loves attending nursery and enjoys the varied activities like dance class, yoga and rugby tots. She also loves the garden and going on walks with her little brother. The staff are extremely kind and nurturing, she has build very fond relationships with many of them. They have helped us through trickier phases like difficult drop-offs. Our son is deaf and has additional support needs and we weren’t sure if nursery was the right option for him but right from the start, the team at Bruce have been amazing—welcoming, inclusive, and genuinely committed to supporting him. We've been extremely impressed and touched at how they have regularly gone above and beyond, from working with his healthcare professionals who visit him to ensuring he is wearing his hearing aids and making the room specific to his interests and motivators. Makaton is used and encouraged by all staff in the nursery and they teach the children a new sign every week. We feel very lucky that our children attend Bruce nursery.
Fantastic caring nursery. Staff all very respectful of your wishes as a parent and of the children’s wants and needs. Always feel listened to as a parent. Always flexible and helpful working with us when we have had to change routine , either sleep patterns , toilet training, or any medications he’s needed, also fully supported the use of reusable nappies at our request. Other support included making sure our child was changed and ready to go to organised appointments such as immunisations and doctors appointments. Keeping us notified everyday , live throughout the day with regards to nappies , food and drink consumed and activities undertaken via online and telephone feedback. Nursery also organises fun external activities for the children to take part in , no day is the same. Wholesome atmosphere all round.
