   Mr Mahran is absolutely wonderful. He was the first person to actually take time to review my health history, checking over all the details at my initial appointment. He took time to explain my condition and what would happen during surgery. I felt like he actually listened which is something I've been struggling with for years via the NHS (and previous surgery for cyst drainage). My endometrioma, ovarian cyst and adhesions have been removed and I could feel the difference just days after surgery. I'm very grateful to Mr Mahran and hopefully now I can get my life back on track. Thank you!

   I visited Mr Mahran after months of pain and from the first appointment he listened to me and promised to get to the bottom of what was happening. After an MRI it became clear I needed surgery. He was very reassuring explaining what would happen and had information to read through. He messaged the night before surgery to confirm when to stop eating. In the hospital before surgery he went through the procedure so I clearly understood it. He visited my the day after surgery and explained what had happened in the surgery. Upon discharge his secretary was in contact within a week wanting to check how I was doing. When I explained I had a possible infection she was straight on the phone to Mr Mahran to let him know. I ended up needing to go to A&E she asked if I could text Mr Mahran as he was worried. Every single step of the way Mr Mahran has listened, he was thorough and he was reassuring. I would recommend him to anyone struggling and needing help.

   Mr Mahran was incredible from start to finish. He is so patient and welcoming and never made me feel rushed. He listened to my concerns and put me at ease throughout my time under his care. Ahead of my surgery he was so thoughtful and always made me feel informed and supported. Post surgery when I had a worry he called me straight away to help. I can't recommend him enough and I'm so grateful to have had him as my consultant and surgeon. Thank you!

   I have been undergoing to tests with Dr Mahran, I am an extremely nervous patient and had delayed treatment due to fear, Dr Mahran took the greatest care of me throughout my appointments, he made me feel assured and cared for. I could not recommend enough an amazing consultant and doctor, I will be seeing Dr Mahran for any future appointments.

   Mr Mahran is my fantastic gynaecologist consultant / surgeon who has been with me throughout my endometriosis journey. As a second opinion’ referral; he correctly diagnosed my endometriosis in 2013. I’ve had 3 successful keyhole surgeries’ to alleviate the symptoms from chronic endometriosis and in 2022 at the age of 45 a complete hysterectomy’ as a long term solution and safeguard me from ovarian cancer, which my mum passed with in 2009. Throughout this journey; Mr Mahran and his team’ (at Bedford Hospital and The Manor Hospital) have treated me with consistent respect and consideration; listening to and answering my questions, pre and post surgical care has been fantastic - I could not have wished for a more capable and caring consultant. You are treated as a whole person’ and not just for the gyne challenges you may represent. You will be in skilled, capable hands. Thank you for giving me my life back Mr Mahran.

   My experience with Mr Mahran has been nothing but positive. After having 2 endometriosis operations and only 25 years old the pain and upset has been a lot.    Having had endometriosis removed twice in the past I was referred to Mr Mahran at the beginning of this year (2020) From the moment we met he put me at ease, explaining everything along the way. He completely understood! I couldn’t believe how quickly I have been seen, operated on and now recovered. Having been back today and been signed off, Mr Mahran is 100% at the top of my Christmas card list!! Any problems, go see this hero!!!
