   This is a great place for a walk. Unfortunately when we visited there was maintenance work being under taken in the woods. Some indication of which areas would have been helpful. We were 2 miles into the walk and found the path was closed with no route around the blockage.

   Lots of space to walk or take children - there is playground equipment. The refreshments and toilets are open in the summer. If you are energetic, take the walk all the way to Carvers Rocks.

   Great reservoir! The fact that there are small Sandy beaches around make for a much more natural feel compared to other Midlands reservoir. I can easily see myself cycling here and spending summer days here in the sun with picnics. Also spacious enough for a lot of people to visit. Ideal for cyclists as there are only single roads anywhere near the water. Only thing is £3 all day parking charge. If you are like me you will do anything to avoid it ;)
