I first started seeing Sylwia at Congruent Counselling back in 2021 during the pandemic, attending in-person sessions. From the very beginning, I felt an immediate sense of trust and safety with her. Sylwia’s warm presence and calming environment made it incredibly easy to open up, even in the early sessions. What I appreciate most is that Sylwia doesn’t offer quick fixes—she helps you bake the pie. She provides a variety of “recipes,” helps you measure the ingredients, mix them together, weigh things up, and decide how long to bake. It’s a thoughtful, collaborative process that respects your pace and your goals - even if you're not sure what those are yet! The true measure of the impact our work has had is in the changes I’ve seen in my own life. I’ve achieved things I once thought were out of reach, and that’s largely thanks to the inner work we’ve done together. Although I’ve since moved countries and we now meet online less frequently, Sylwia still brings the same warmth and care to every session. She gently mirrors your thoughts, helps you organise them, and supports you in finding a clearer, better way forward. I can't recommend Sylwia highly enough to anyone looking for a compassionate, grounded, and skilled counsellor.
