Excellent walk by the sea, not the most inspiring views but possible to collect shells and so on. Trip on the mini train is fun for all. Pizza in the cafe were excellent as was coffee and drinks.

Great park by the seashore with lots of history behind it. Nice restaurant within the park and a small railway around the park for the family to enjoy. Highly recommend visit if you’re in Southampton or near by.

Great park! The view of Soton Docks is not the best but the park and its amenities make it a great choice for a day out and get fresh air. Visited the dinosaur exposition there yesterday which is now closed, and it was great. The park should have more events like this!

Lovely park over looking Southampton water, lots to do for family's, large areas to have picnics, a lovely woodland walk too, well worth visiting in the spring when there are bluebells on show. Lovely area where there's a tea room too

Went to see The Lost World of Dinosaurs. They were good and some really great and huge dinosaurs to make kids happy. They were placed in woods so it was better. But they can do more by having more and better condition dinosaurs rather than worn out ones. Not much options to buy food other than burgers, chips and ice cream and drinks. Huge area for picnic and roaming.

Beautiful country park, with a great museum (with really helpful staff volunteers), great place to take the dog and for children to play. They had clean toilet facilities and a couple of nice cafés. Plenty of parking too. Dogs are allowed in most places, but not the museum. Parking not cheap, but it goes to the upkeep of the park.

It's been quite a while since I'd been to Victoria Country Park and I was pleasantly surprised. Great place to explore. Good for children, and a great place for exercising dogs. It's nice to walk along the shore or fly a kite. Great place for a picnic - particularly if you have one on the banqueting table in the Fairy Garden. There's a lovely little tea room in the chapel. The parking is a little pricey at £6 for all day, or £2 for an hour, but there is free parking if you don't mind walking. All in all, a lovely spot to while away an hour or two.

One of our favourite country parks. So much to do! The beach is so nice! The park, train, fairy garden, cafe, chapel are all beautifully maintained and looked after. It is easy to spend the entire day here. We usually take a picnic and then get an ice cream from the van - but the cafe is lovely too! Car parking can be quite expensive when you stay all day but it’s not too bad for the amount of time you are there. You can also jump on the train for a ride too!

Brought my 16 month old son to see the dinosaurs and also got a lovely walk around the park. It has everything from a very small beach and view across the sea, a massive park for the family to all run around in the good weather and a restaurant and cafe. There was a couple of children's play areas to keep them entertained as well. Something for all the family. And then Jurassic Encounters was great too with all the life like dinosaurs and then the few children's activities and food stalls at the end. Overall a great family day out.

A lovely place to breathe sea air and have a relaxing stroll pretty close to Southampton which allows to avoid typical weekend beach traffic. The parkland and seafront are nice, there’s enough parking (we paid 5£ for 2 hours, it’s 9£ for the whole day). The toilets are decent though located only near the visitor center. I was just a bit frustrated by the café as there was basically nothing to eat. Although the ice-cream, especially chocolate one, was delicious.
