Even in almost dark, as I went there in very short time to sunset, it's incredible charming area. Smell of the forest after rain... WOW. This time of the year (middle of autumn) when leaves changing colours is very pleasant, and out of the rush hours, peaceful. Food place to calm put some sport gear on and sweat out worries of the day. Or just to make walk, observe Animals. Trying to be there as much as possible Even now I choose this please for my running training. It's Brilliant. Again, just after sunset, when all people gone

Beautiful place to stop and walk among ancient trees! There was ample parking with no charge and a lovely coffee truck. Definitely worth a visit for a walk or bike ride.

A favourite place of ours not just the incredible trees but the wild life, treed lightly through this beautiful place and you will be well rewarded with glimpses of wild life you seldom see enjoy.

Came here with my friends during the summer, honestly did not disappoint! The pathways were clear, beautiful, and extremely fun to walk. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking and worth the trip down here. Highly recommend this path for friends or family, it wasn't busy at all, and even the couple of people that were there we didn't bump into due to how long the path is.

Two wide disabled parking bays by the toilet block. Wheelchair can make it up and down paths. Busy time is from 10am to 4pm especially at weekends and great weather. For those who love mycology are in for a delight at special times of the year. People look after the forest and don't drop rubbish, so you should too!

Great place to relax, get lost in the woods and listen to birds callings. The routes around the little rivers are magical and full of beauty spots.
