Grounds are nice but two complaints. One, the car park doesn't ever seem to be open, so parking is limited to just outside the gates and there is little space. Two, (major annoyance) is there is dog poo everywhere. Including on the football pitch where the kids play.

Just watched a schools cricket competition at Lapstone Park. Thought the playing field & facilities were very good. Fair amount of parking too
A pleasant, large open space, between Fair Oak and Horton Heath. The area is grassed with a clubhouse although I'm not sure what the clubhouse is used for.
Lovely big field/cricket pitch in the summer. Ideal for walking dogs or have a game of foot ball. The field also backs onto a big woods which you can walk through and access from two different places. Free parking at the top of the field as well.
Good blackberry picking today (September). Odd that the car park wasn't open so football kids' parents were all parked in Pavilion Close, which must be annoying for the residents
Great for football in winter, cricket in summer. Local teams play here. Also for tennis all year around. Pavilion is nice. Good place to go
I actually play cricket here. This area is well maintained. Parking is not open to public it is locked access. There is a pavilion but this also is access only. There are tennis courts but not much more. Many walk their dogs here round the field. There is no play structure for kids it is just a playing field.
