“Large car park with plenty of spaces. You can also pay to park using your mobile phone with RingGo and currently, EBC offers a BOGOF deal on parking: buy one hour, get a second hour free. Slight downside is that, like all multi-storey car parks, there are pillars which are always in the wrong place making it difficult to get in or out of your car. If the ground floor is full you can drive up to other levels - some are outdoors.”

“Park Pharmacy always go the extra mile, super helpful today. They took time out of their busy schedule to try and track down a prescription that was supposed to have been sent over before end of business. They checked and double checked only to discover St Francis Surgery had not sent it over. No one was available on Reception at St Francis, three of us waiting in queue. Eventually someone turned up and was told it will be sent over tomorrow. Communication is key!”

“Hursley Cafe is definitely the café we’ve visited the most since moving to Southampton. With its great value for money, we find ourselves coming here almost every Sunday. This is a record of our visit two weeks ago, after our eldest daughter and her friend finished rugby practice in Eastleigh. We ordered Egg Royale, Lasagne, a Kids’ Meal, Mocha, and Hot Chocolate. The food quality was excellent, and the portions were generous. This café gets extremely busy on Sunday mornings, so we highly recommend calling ahead to make a reservation to avoid long waiting times.”

“Fantastic wall we had this morning! The staff were lovely, chatty, and so caring to the alpacas. The walk started off with them telling us all about alpacas then we each got our alpaca and started our walk! We stopped twice to feed them treats and got to bond with them and take some cute pictures. The walk was gorgeous walking in nature! At the end we fed more alpacas (the females that didn’t join us on the walk) and then went we concluded by looking around their little alpaca shop. You can buy alpaca earrings, keychains, gloves, scarfs, hats, crochet wool (to name a few). You can even buy their poop to put in the garden. I’d absolutely go back and recommend it to everyone! Thank you to the team and thanks to my new alpaca friend jasper!”

“i walked all the way from Weston.A great walk with great views. When you get to the oil terminal and think the pathway ends,it doesn't. The route i took ended on the waterfront in Hamble village. There is coastal erosion but the pathway follows another route in places.Great place for families, kids and dogs, and single folk like me.The reed beds can be a bit soggy after winter but the diversity of the common is really special.Beach, marsh, woods and narrow paths and open grass land. The gun in my photo isn't the original bofors gun sited here in world war 2 but a replacement, and very real. Saturday 30th March 2024. I left a review five years ago. Today there is an update. The coast path from Hamble car park walking west is largely flooded. A lot of people use the beach as a pathway. The pathway is that flooded with water. I found a way through the scrub between the path and the beach because I had been walking for several hours and didn't want to turn around. I had walked from Burseldon and caught the ferry from Warsash to Hamble and carried on walking. You will need hiking boot's or wellies to walk from Hamble to the oil terminal along the coast path for a while. From the oil terminal west the going gets easier. Just when it was drying out. The Hamble circular walk will be challenging for a few weeks at least.”

“After a lovely two days in Bournemouth, we were heading back to the midlands on a 4.5 hour journey, but needed to eat so we could survive the loooong journey home. I read the reviews and we popped in for our dinner. So happy we did. It was just what we needed to give us the kick start. The food was delicious, fresh, tasty, great portions and very reasonable prices. My hubby and eldest had the buffet for £19:99 and me and my youngest had paneer tikka, chicken Peshawari. The chef was so kind he made us some special tea with spices to help us with our long journey. Staff were professional, helpful and attentive. I would highly recommend this lovely place. Thank you to the staff at Great Mogul you really helped make our journey home so much better.”

“Great food and service with a 2 for £30 deal. There was a good choice with steak, burgers and other options. We were told clearly what was in the deal and served quickly. The drinks came quickly and the food took around 20 minutes to arrive. We had starters and main courses and all was cooked perfectly. The portions were filling and I'd never tasted such tender rump steak. Not at all fatty. The surf and turf burger with the King Prawns and proper grilled beef burger was also full of flavour. I wish there was a Beefeater like this nearer to where we usually live.”

“I actually play cricket here. This area is well maintained. Parking is not open to public it is locked access. There is a pavilion but this also is access only. There are tennis courts but not much more. Many walk their dogs here round the field. There is no play structure for kids it is just a playing field.”

“We have been so impressed with the professionalism and dedication to making renting out our buy-to-let property such a simple experience. They have managed everything with the new tenants with minimal fuss for us; exactly the right amount of engagement (not every little detail, but also not leaving us in the dark). It has taken a huge weight off our minds to know that we are in safe hands. If we had any other properties they would 100% be managed by Reece Residents and I cannot recommend them enough.”

“Looking for a place to walk our hound and have a slice of cake i stumbled upon woodland cafe on Google maps and decided to give it a try, seeing a woodland around it. It is located within Itchen valley country park and one needs to pay for parking. There is a lovely play walk for the children, go ape, cycle path, bridal path and dog walking paths. A lovely piecefull area. The cafe is inviting and the staff are very friendly.”

“Great afternoon out. You can start in the cafe and get some nice food with a fair amount of choice, it's a little expensive but it is good quality to go with it. The railway I good as you can get a return ticket so you can get off at the lakes and have a little walk around them and if you have small ones then there is a fenced off park area near the station to visit. The trains are good fun, and they have space for a buggy or two if you need to take it with you to the other end. The return journey is a bit more scenic and features the tunnel, which, if you have children who are sensitive to loud noises, may be unsettled when they go through it.”
